Whiplash and La La Land are both very entertaining, crowd pleasing movies throughout their duration, but it isn't until the finale where you realize just how carefully the pieces have been stacked up, just to knock is all back down in an emotional explosion. And that is when they hit you with something only the best movies can ever offer: a message.
Whiplash and La La Land are both very entertaining, crowd pleasing movies throughout their duration...
dunkey should go back to reviewing click
La La Land is one of the best movies in recent memory.
Emma is so pretty.
Dunkey's just writing whatever right now, but he's got a fantastic eye for editing desu
I cringe every time I see a video game YouTuber think that they suddenly have the authority to pretentiously talk about movies
this comes off like a 5th grade book report
keep saying it
keep saying it

This. I only turn to well educated opinions that matter which is why I spend at least 4 hours browsing Yea Forums per day. Otherwise how else will I decide what I thought about movies I may or may not have seen?
Fuck off faggot. I hate Yea Forums too
You only liked these movies because they have no blacks, isn't it, you incel?
>talks about two movies and does't really try to connect them
>half of whiplash is selling the premise with no conclusion as to why he's talking about it besides "it's fun"
>overral point is a bit empty
This video is so scattered and pointless, it's kinda weird. I like the attempt of this nigga just giving his thoughts on some films instead of giving your average hack review, but still, what did he mean by all this?
also this, the editing's pretty good, the last bit is so good it fools into believing the video has a point.
La La Land literally has John Legend you fucking retard.
That and he comes dangerously close to saying that Fletcher was right which is the ultimate brainlet take on Whiplash. Also he calls Miles Teller's character "Miles" which really brings into question how much he was even paying attention to the movie.
>dunkey reviewing oscarbait years after they came out
What did he mean by this?
Depressing movie. Some whiteboy loser who thinks he knows jazz, and a struggling actress who becomes a starlet yet prefers to waste her life with whiteboy loser even though she has achieved everything else she wanted in life.
Suicide fuel of a movie.
I fucking hated this racist piece of shit movie. It is a celebration of classic, colourful WHITE HOLLYWOOD devoid any meaning to the modern audience besides visual and musical mastubation. John Legend is a MAGICAL NEGRO stereotype, only there to move DASHING-WHITE-HERO Sebastian, played by the equally dashing and white Ryan Gosling. In the movie, we see WHITE people having WHITE problems while dealing with other WHITE PEOPLE in their white houses in WHITEWOOD. The celebration of the "glorious" 50s white lovestory, so marked by rampant RACISM and EXCLUSION, is not only enfuriating and boring to see on screen: it is vile, evil and repulsive.
The movie claims to be "about the sacrifices and challenges of pursuing your dreams", yet all we see is AMERICA'S REDHEAD SWEETWHITE Emma Stone crying about her defeated white dreams, thinking that her life is any worse than a 220 pounds NUBIAN MOTHER QUEEN from the Harley who could never afford a gig to the theater, much less fit in a seat.
I hate white people. I hate them so much.
>I hate white people. I hate them so much.
Only part of the post I agree with.
If he had any balls he'd review First Man instead but he's probably the kind of guy to think NO FLAG BAD even though there was a flag and they didn't show the planting of the flag because it was a Neil Armstrong movie and Neil Armstrong didn't plant the flag you idiots. If you want a movie about the flag go watch a Buzz Aldrin movie. Who by the way came off as a complete dick in this movie.
