Stale and boring format. Same as Epic Meal Time, Same as Annoying Orange, Same as Fred, same as [insert trend that had MILLIONS of views and is now dead]
They had a decent(ish) idea at some point, struck gold with it and got locked into only being able to do that one thing and nothing else, so eventually it got stale and boring and people just stopped caring.

Plus for the case of ERB, I like their concept, but once you've seen one, you've kinda seen all. They don't improve in their rap, they don't have different styles or themes, it's just incredibly samey, and often feels like they're just rapping a wikipedia entry. There is almost no variety, and all the appeal comes from a "Hey I know these people!" recognition. Like stale reference humor.
