Death is unnatural. Death is cruel joke! Death mocks life, mocks Skeksis! But no more. Skeksis conquer death! And you Gelfling would do same in Skeksis' place.

Is this from the movie or the series?
I tried watching this shit last night but it was way too bizarre.
HmmMMMMMMMmmm
series
>climate blackpill puppet show
>reptillian NWO blackpill show
>direct action ecoterror show
Based Henson Studios.
I haven't watched it yet, does it feel like a genuine Jim Henson production, or just another soulless sequel?
Same. Made me realize I only ever liked the puppet effects from the movie.
It's Henson as fuck.
Is Jen the worst main character of all time
Fuck off luddite, I need my sex robots to come out faster
So not like the new Muppets stuff then?
lmaoing at your 'life'
He's lame. But the trio of leads in the show are good. Deet especially.
what would you do if these guys sucked the essence out of your girlfriend and then drank her
it was unfocused and had no interest in making you care
Didn't see it so I can't tell you. But it's extremely faithful to the film. If anything it's probably better written given the film's strongest point is hardly its script.
Skeksis have not conquered death but they did nothing wrong. everyone else in the show seems so retarded that they deserve to be enslaved and exploited
Cut open their bellies and drink it myself
what is this fetish called
>just finished episode 4
It's so good, lads.
You'd think they fuck up the switch from low fantasy to high fantasy, but it's surprisingly well executed. It makes sense too.
Also, for me, it's Deet
drink them back?
He's wrong because Gelfling are faggits and won't do that
Nathalie Emmanuel has a very qt voice.
Yep it's feel like a Henson product watch it from a torrent
>what would you do if these guys sucked the essence out of your girlfriend and then drank her
idk but i am pretty sure that is what the elites do at bohemian grove and lolita island.

I'm only half-way in, but it's as worthy as a sequel can get.
Since we're looking at the planet in the height of its power, the series doesn't have that rich atmosphere of a completely alien world (it even looks too clean at times). It sets in a standard high-fantasy setting but it sill has the weirdness and wonder of the original one.
The biggest difference is in the writing, it doesn't suffer from the hiccups the original one had, it feels really natural and really charming, all emotional beats work too.
Only real problem I have is the over-reliance on CG (but I understand why they chose it), and so far I'm not seeing enough of the spirituality the film had, but I'm pretty sure it'll appear when the plot starts heading torwards everyone fucking dying
I went in fully expecting Netflix to taylor the show for the “broader audience”. Instead it’s a legit prequel to the movie
Just finished Episode 4 was intense Holy shit
THIS jesus christ.
The swordfight was messy and choppy as SHIT, but fucking hell I was on the edge of my seat. It's such a perfect little setup.
I'm still surprised at how good this shit actually is, can barely believe it.
