What is this garbage, the movie isn't about Max, instead we get to follow some boring ass chick with no arm

Modern millennials can't relate to a guy like Gibson who got the part after getting into a bar fight

Numales relate more to Tom Hardy, even though he looks like he blew a guy at a bar to get the part.

I remember the massive revisionism from people that had never seen a Mad Max movie before Fury Road. "BUT THE SERIES WAS NEVER ABOUT MAX! IT WAS ABOUT GOOSE/THE OIL REFINERY PEOPLE/THE LOST BOY KIDS!". Fucking bullshit that was never said until FR came out.

That being said, Fury Road is still a great fucking movie.

I think Tom Hardy was great but fucking hated that there was too little focus on him.

Forced feminism garbage

He didn't get the lead because of that fight, though. He showed up to the audition with his face really swollen and bruised from the fight and was told to come back later since they could use someone with a fucked up face in a minor role.

By the time he came back, everything had mostly healed and worked itself out from there.

wtf?

peak gibson is way more attractive than hardy ever was

everything mad max is below average at best, it just got memed into pop culture. probably because of the car
