Do we like Mindhunter?

I wish season 2 of Mindhunter lived up to its fantastic opening.

It was still good, but the second half of it felt kind of meandering and like the writers weren't sure what direction they wanted to go in exactly.

Oh, and I do think a big thing was that there less interviews than Season 1 even though the interviews are consistently the best part of the show.

What's your point. Manson, Kemper, and Berkowitz each only got one short interview scene, I'll concede Williams was well done, and BTK obviously didn't get much screen time at all.

Don't get me wrong, I'm still a huge fan and a lot of parts I liked better than Season 1. There were just a few problems that made some aspects a little disappointing.

kek season 3 is just them interviewing every single black person in the US

the main charecters are nothing special, especially Holden, hes incredibly forgettable and has no real traits. Tench is acted and written pretty well and has clear charecter traits with a somewhat interesting arc espically concerning his family. The show is realy pulled together by the side charecters, namely the seriel killers, Kemper especially, the ending of season 1 shows how good the show can get when everything is co-ordinated. The loop of learn new thing, apply new thing, solve crime and the repeat in a different location wouldnt be as interesting if it wernt for the writing and prefeormances of the killers, they all feel authentic, and each backstory is unique. The cinamatography is good, mainly because of the dark lighting, however with people like David Finch working on it i rly cant help but feel theres some lost potential.
tdlr acting ect is okay, the show is maily good because of the interesting true stories and the preformances from the killers.

The show is based on a book and real events that that involved the actual FBI agents the characters are based on.

The writers can't just change reality. The agents really did interrupt their interviews to go to Atlanta.

Holden is interesting because it’s sometimes unclear whether he’s just an aspie or somewhat of a psychopath himself. Season 1 Holden kind of reminded me of Jake Gyllenhaal in Nightcrawler.
