reddit the movie

It's what happens when a stemtard tries to make a movie.
And yet this same stemtard made Upsteam Colour, one of the best films in the last decade.
I like Primer more, every Upstream Color explanation feels like speculation

If you watch the movie you shouldn't need anything explained. It's relatively straightforward.
That's one of the few films I ever had to turn off midway through. And I've sat through plenty of low paced arthouse films. I'll give it another chance though.
The only thing sadder than a person who doesn't understand primer is one who understands it and thinks that it's clever, complex or well made.
At the core of primer is a very basic time travel story that has been done in literature and film quite a bit. What set's it apart (aside from the spartan tone) is the narrative structure, which chops large segments out of the narrative so that it can withhold info about what's happening in the story. It does this purely to leave the viewer unable to interpret the narrative during the course of the film and create a mystery and sense of complexity where there is actually none at all. Of course, not very smart people fall for this trick hook line and sinker and will swear on their mother that the emperor is not only fully clothed, but his robes feature unmatched detail in their embroidery.
In short, if you think it's smart, you're dumb.
Absolutely fucking based. You just know 99% of the people who love this film jerked off Nolan at some point and think their tastes have elevated for enjoying something like this.
nice pasta
it makes those small bits you do figure out pretty satisfying tbqh

This is how I know you don't understand the film, maybe didn't even watch it. Name a single other piece of media that uses timetravel like Carruth did.
I was able to follow the movie easily until it’s revealed the father in law fucked things up because from there on out the movie becomes an overwhelming infodump while continuing on with the obfuscation
Harry Potter and the prisoner of azkaban
A Topiary when???
dangerously redpilled. overrated garbage.
