Art direction was interesting and well-made imho. The plot, ideas and implications are bullshit. The two most important characters were also horribly cast too.
Watch it in case you wanna see some different and quirky art direction, as well some unusual scene transitions. But that's all I can say that's "good" in this movie.

It was trash. And so were all the "awkward quirky teen rom-com coming-of-age" movies that came out around that period. Scott Pilgrim, Project X, Zack and the bitch make a porno, Nick and Norah's Playlist, etc etc. The only movie that was decent was Superbad and even that kinda aged a little poorly. The one where Michael Cera has a split personality or some shit was awful as well, I just forgot the name though. I think he was doing an awful french accent or some gay shit.
