The only actor who could've ever played the Judge in a film adaptation of Blood Meridian
why?
i could pull off Holden
You could pull him off in a rickety jakes right before he leaves your dead body lying there fore the rest of the crew to find.
Kek.
*blocks your path*
>WAR IS GOD
blood meridian but where holden is always off camera
Ew.
Um, sweetie...
I wish Brando had played Mussolini in a biopic around that time.
What about the guy who played Errol Childress?
Glenn Fleshler. He's kinda got the speech down, doesn't he? Not the accent. Holden doesn't have the accent Childress does, but the way of being scary through the use of speech. Almost Hannibal Lecter like. I could honestly see it.
I see it.
Fuck no.
Even if they made him pale with makeup and contacts, he still can't act.
It's more than just varying shades of light skinned bald guys. You need someone who can be fucking terrifying.
>tfw there's been a robbery at Woolworth's
>I know a guy
would be fucking perfect if he put on some weight
>Speaking of which
I think he could pull it off. A bit against type, but still effective. The Judge comes off as having a fairly high tone, almost academic at times. Ted Levine can do scary, but his tone is lower, almost plebian. It would be interesting to hear him say some of the Judge's dialogue in his half grunty way.
wasn't Brando a manlet? the Judge is fucking huge according to the book
>The Judge comes off as having a fairly high tone, almost academic at times.
Then Tom might be perfect. He's very soft spoken, but can be menacing.
Maybe almost too soft, but he's fucking scary. I could see it.
Just have him stand on a chair and film him in the dark lmao
Came here to post these. He's perfect for it.
>Brando will never play King Lear or Ahab
FUCK
He looked fucking huge in Apocalypse Now as Kurtz, and like the other user mentioned, movies are flexible in terms of presentation so whatever.
John Goodman could've but he's too old now
