As far as fun, entertaining, genuinely laugh out loud movies go these 2 are some of the best and are so damn underrated. Fuck what rotten tomatoes says or most fans, I'd rather just sit back and watch these 2 kino flicks over most of the shit that comes out today.
And for those that don't know, James Gunn wrote both of these, and there's "Guardians" type humour in them that you can he wrote. In fact loving these movies is why I knew Guardians would be entertaining, because he already nailed the funny ensemble cast before.
For a Satanic child rapist / murderer / cannibal I'll admit Gunn makes good movies.

Scooby Doo (2002) is a Halloween staple for sure. It's even more fun to watch with the cast commentary and the crew commentary. It's clear everyone involved had a lot of fun making the movie.
