another kino for pitt’s filmography

Still gonna be a massive flop. No way it will make a profit on a $87.5m budget

has anyone seen that chinese sci fi film. is it any good?

interstellar? i thought he just goes to saturn

AAAAAAAAHHHHHH OWW OWW BRADU PREASU STOPPU YOUL MOBIE BETTA CHINESE MOBIE SUCK OWWW OWW

>indiewire
Into the fucking garbage it goes

I bet you are that asshole who tries to correct people when they use the word decimate in reference to eliminating more than 10% of something

Eh, it's got a real big plot and thin characters. Feels kinda like a better looking Armageddon. Not a ton of style.

this is also the faggot who gave magic mike the same score, i’ll wait for another review

it just seems like they shouldn't purposefully shoehorn another movie into their shilling

thats a shame. i dont think theres been a really great sci fi film in a long time

5 stars from The Guardian

>same cinematographer as Interstelllar
Guaranteed kino

Ehhhh. Brad Pitt is like 55. Wouldnt it make more sense if they send a more fitter person who is like 35 years old to space.

All James Gay movies are fucking boring. He's the definition of dishonest filmmaking.

>indiewire

cant wait for another pseud space film

Why is space kino always so comfy bros?

Attached: Incredible.jpg (178x149, 3K)

it looks like shit they have a fucking car chase on the moon

slow paced movies bad
fast paced movies good

It will be divisive as hell, this is just the critics so far. They usually like Gray. Yea Forums will call it boring, it's not an action driven at all, it's a very slow exploration film and character study.
It's one action scene. The film is hard scifi. Gray wanted to make the most realistic space exploration film, the film is a bit stupid but nothing that bad imo.

Apply yourself

it was a bad sign when they did it in star trek and it's as bad sign in this too

some things are worth the cost

>(The BLUE ASTRONAUTS in the Lunokhods brandish a weapon called a STILETTO--an electromagnet-propelled jet of liquid metal resembling a solid bar of light.)
At least it's not a normal gun.

normal guns would work fine in space the only real issue is friction welding which I assume isn't that big of a deal but I have no idea

Now I'm less interested.

James Gray is like S. Craig Zahler if you replaced the latter's funny contrarianiam and deft execution with self-centered pretention and critic-baiting mimicry.

Gray has intentionally taken the path with the most resistance only because he has had the promise of financiers since he began, yet he tries to spin this into a mythologizing artist rally to justify his tantrums and bitchiness. But hey it seems to have paid off into a roofie that attracted Brad Pitt, who will probably star in two more big budget Gray essays on the human condition and modern masculinity. What a waste. Unless you're a critic or a Yea Forums film schooler.

PITTED

Cool blog

The film is great, just don't expect some action flick. It's paced like Solaris or 2001, very slow. Pitt is also great, even better than in OUATIH. The film kind of mixes intimate character study and this epic exploration of space. It may not work for everyone since the balance is hard to attain but i thought it was pretty great with some minor quibbles.

Gray is just making films like from 70s. That's all he does.

Bump

wtf pitt looks exactly the same after all these years.
wtf is this guy doing to keep his looks going?

HOLY SHIT
how will the chinks even recover????

wtf pitt looks exactly the same after all these years.

>Disney movie getting rave reviews
already learned my lesson on that one

It was Fox film, Disney bought Fox while the film was in post production. Also this is not a classical Disney film and not a classical blockbuster. I bet most of mainstream audiences will hate this.

He never showers, just routinely rubs himself down with baby wipes.

Ehh, was very interested in this, but with super sjw Guardian and Indiewire singing its praise, this simply has to be a shit movie.

This movie is actually getting mixed reviews in Venice

Yes, seems like American critics like it but the audience is very split. I liked it, but some people i spoke to afterwards were underwhelmed by it.

torrent when?

Because rarely do movies use the comfy silence of somewhere like space anymore, 90% of the movies in theaters are all BANG BANG BOOM QUIP QUIP QUIP QUICK MORE GREEN SCREEN

NOOOOOO MR.PITTU PREE DON'T GO TO SPACEU

How did you went to venice? Are you a journalist, a freelance or just a normal guy who lives there?

Doesnt look mixed to me

Brad Pitt launches his campaign for the Presidency.
You heard it here first.

>puts interstellar as bait in the title
God I hate critics

Check letterboxd. More than 100 ratings, mixed response.

Why wouldn't it be kino? It's BRADU PITTU

>ruminative
Why do basedboys feel the need to use complex words no one knows?

The fuck. I wrote onions boys. Why the fuck was it changed?

s-o-y boys. What the fuck is wrong with this board?

Europoors hate seeing Americans in space because it reminds them that we are the superior species

You have to go back

Can't expect normies to like a mix between apocalypse now and 2001. I'm fine with this

James Gray owes his career to European critics. They love him.
Well the film attempts that but it's not entirely successful desu. Still probably the most ambitious blockbuster i have seen, but it has its flaws. It really seems like people can't connect with the main character and find it boring but for me it was good father son kino. I actually really cared about the main character, so it worked for me.

How old are you, kiddo?

Older than you, boyo

Fuck. Yes.

Armageddon was kino

Is this the original version or the butchered version the leaks talked about?

Agree over the Guardian.
However based Pitt means I'll pay to go see Kino scenes on a large screen.

There is no better kino than sci-fi kino.

Well, it seems like compromises were made. I don't remember narration being in the script but it was in the film. The wife character wasn't in the script i read but she is in the film. She is there for a very short time, even monkey has more screentime than her. Also the ending changed. I think the core of the film is the same. Hard to know what was Gray's choice and what was studio's choice, still it's his film imo. It's close to script, i guess the narration is the biggest change.

Af fuck you OP now I wish I hadn't seen the trailer
