Everyone used to say Nickelodeon "died" in 2004, since they cancelled the 90s shows then.

But nowadays, you've got Zoomers fondly remembering post-2004 Nick shows like iCarly, Big Time Rush, and Victorious. Which I guess shows this is all a cycle.

Portentous if verifiable

They were right, live action Nickelodeon was hot garbage, the only good thing to come of it was having a clear mental image of Victoria Justice to jerk it to.

Zoomers? Lawl the audience were the same people from the 90s and its because they became horny older people

why do people complain so much about what younger people than them find nostalgic being cringe when people older than you almost defiantly find what you're nostalgic about to be cringe
such a stupid thing to complain about

Zoom

i am 99% sure that any media you're nostalgic for would be considered cringe by older people
going "muh zoomer cringe" doesn't really work when the cringe applies to yourself by someone else

bump

It’s almost as people are just nostalgic about their childhood and should stop watching children’s programming after a certain age.

imagine being nostalgic about something transmitted in HD! LOL!

Zoomers do

>Everyone used to say Nickelodeon "died" in 2004
How could they have "died" when they premiered their best series a year later?

I'm so glad that this show exists just to steal the title of Most Overrated Cartoon from Batman the Animated Series

>I'm so glad that this show exists just to steal the title of Most Overrated Cartoon from Batman the Animated Series
Okay, if you don't like either ATLA or Batman that much, what cartoon would you consider is the best, user?

Certainly not western trash

That reminds me of the gamefaqs forums during the early 2000s, they were complaining about Drake and Josh and praising the 90s shows like Kenan and Kel

Go to then, weeb.

Avatar was good but it was pretty much the only good post-2004 one. It was surrounded by a bunch of tweencoms like Unfabulous, Zoey 101, and iCarly.

you're just mad that the things you are nostalgic about are cringe

my point is that the things that you're nostalgic about are probably cringe too nerd

Book 2 is really good. 1 is ok and 3 is a mess.
I watched these when I was 16 babysitting my much younger brother so I'm free from the pollution of nostalgia.

True but the craft that went into 90s nick was different from post-2004 Nick. Compare pete & pete to icarly.

Get back to your containment board, semenskull

no, my nostalgia is objectively based and for chads, everyone else's nostalgia is cringe and for soys. this is the irrefutable truth.

once the transition between Drake and Josh to iCarly happened I realized I was getting too old for nick and made the switch to Comedy central.

zoomers are dumber than I thought

>generation is widely derided for having shit taste
>surprised when they have shit taste

People automatically have no taste and as you grow the culture you're brought up in guides you. Modern children's entertainment realized it didn't have to put any effort into making quality shit so now we live in a society of people raised without taste.

Perfect assessment.

This guy fucks.

>unironic “we live in a society”

Generations don't exist.

Yes they do

Wow, same. But i used Big Time Rush to jerk off. I jerked off to the 4 of them, but my favorite was definitely kendall schmidt, oh boy did i milk for him. Maybe 3x a day for him

No, Nick did die in the 90s, but then Dan "Magic Hands" Schneider saved it with his quality product.
