This is the one in 4 years obligatory actual decent film from Netflix, should be good.
>show about white history with no noticeable ingrained guilt tripping
somethings not right here
i thought that was the irishman
the Bonnie and Clyde movie was good too
Doesn't even have to be that good, films about medieval history are so infrequent.
Plus it's gonna be a proper brexit film.
Why does he look like hes in a wheelchair
somebody edit the poster to say "KINO" instead of "KING" or I swear to fucking christ I will delete this board
the zoomers are posting from their phones
i guess you are too since you want it edited and wont do it yourself
It shouldn't be that hard, what font is that
I'm unironically stoked for this.
Marriage Story premiered in Venice and is getting rave reviews so that might be the one you are talking about.
I will watch it for he.
absolutely atrocious job I mean atleast line it up
its not strictly historical, its based on shakespeare
You did a better job in less time. Fuck me.
>Netflix
Thanks for trying
this one is better but should be thinner
this is the winner
here you go bro
congratulations
I feel like I just watched this movie on netflix except it had Chris Pine instead of the twink
>WHATS MUH FOOKIN NAME?
it's not historically accurate though
Henry V gallivanting around with commoners in his youth was made up.
So we can all agree it’s going to be the best movie of 2019, right?
Looks like dogshit
The movie is based on Shakespeare’s plays
Parasite
Yes I agree with you if not best of the decade brother
For me, it's Kenneth Branagh and a young Christian Bale in the crowd.
For
Love that movie, My favourite Shakespeare adaptation
K I N O.
>The startling transformation undertaken by Hal in Shakespeare’s Henriad series, from the fun-loving prince into the all-powerful monarch, is one of literature’s most acute character studies. Here, David Michôd (Animal Kingdom, The Rover) and co-screenwriter and star Joel Edgerton adapt those texts to explore how a reluctant monarch took the crown, and found himself embroiled in the very same wars he despised his father for. It finds Chalamet displaying his range and versatility, and he perfectly captures both the charm and recklessness of the youthful prince and the steely authoritarianism of a king in the making. Edgerton, as gifted and versatile an actor as he is a writer, makes a particularly soulful, tragic-heroic John Falstaff. Bloody, potent, rousing, this is a full-bodied adaptation of Shakespeare’s text, with David Michôd again collaborating with cinematographer Adam Arkapaw, who is as much at home photographing the intimacy of a rare trusted confidence in a royal court of vipers as he is depicting the awesome scale of a bruising grand battle. Supporting cast are excellent all around, not least Lily-Rose Depp as Catherine, future Queen of England, Ben Mendelsohn as Henry IV and Robert Pattinson as a particularly spicy Dauphin, heir to the French throne.
Who knew Joel Edgerton took such in interest in Shakespeare.
Spicy? He looks pure.
Looks great. Probably would never have seen the light of day without netflix, this is going to be largely panned by the mouth breathers.
Yeah what’s going on?
As long as there are zero bloody Africans in it I will be happy, the BBC Shakespeare adaptations are fucking dire.
>the BBC Shakespeare adaptations are fucking dire.
Well the ones that don't feature any Africans are pretty good. For me, it was Ben Whishaw.
Trailer looks good.
for me, it was when tom hiddleston got slapped by jeremy irons.
this. I'm only watching for the Pat.
Yeah those are great, but Sophie Okonedo’s droopy cunt face under the crown just murdered all immersion for me. I will never accept Norman nobles played by sub Saharan imports, never. That’s diversity tokenism over anything else.
I’ll watch for timmy
It's a tradition in theatre, really shouldn't get that worked up over it m8, though yeah she's especially ugly.
I'll watch for Pattimmy
no
That was Buster Scruggs.
timmy's face is so wide
a true mewer
That shit sucked desu
This scene always gets me hype as fuck.
based
no
All Gold Canyon was botched badly compared to the short story.
I knew what it was without even clicking.
>AND GENTLEMEN IN ENGLAND NOW ABED WILL HOLD THEMSELVES ACCURSED THAT THEY WERE NOT HERE
Kino
>the king all hail
what did they mean by this
post timmy's tummy
no, i think you're referring to Polar.
Will Pattinson speak in a French accent?
As long as it has the same attention to historical detail as Outlaw King I will be happy.
And based
>historical
its probably gonna be about Shakespeare's play.
WHAT the fuck is this racist shit? where all the PoC at?
why did they get the french one to play the english king and the english one to play the french king
can you stop being such a fag with your venice and your reviews out of it?
It's like poetry. It rhymes.
for me its Outlaw King
How does Netflix make this and then there's Witcher...
They should both be speaking French
>>"in any regard." she said smugly.
pass
Oh my GOD, I'm so fucking sick of Anglo history, it's dull and boring before the 17th century. 95% of media set in the medieval era takes place on that shitty little island and I don't understand why. Literally every other corner of the globe is more interesting, let alone just western and southern Europe. And why is everything grey and drab? Where is the life? Where is the color? Finally, FUCK shallow noble intrigue trash, if you're going to continue down the backed up freeway at least get autistic about it and dive into the details beyond soap opera melodrama.
I'll bet the characters act and think like contemporary fags beyond the clothes and physical circumstances
My nigga David Michod is back boys
Get a grip. Are you subjected to any of it?
>anglos
>white
Fuck that slow-burn drama... Been waiting for a kino version of the battle of Azincourt for years now, preferably as a single 120+ min. tracking shot, showing people dying of pneumonia and fever before the actual battle.
Battle of Azincourt in one tracking shot. Imagine...
Seething.
Any good medieval films or teebee?
