bredu pitu goes in space to find his daddy who fucked up something

Brad Pitt goes and looks for his father. His father is near Neptune and there is a big explosion. Government thinks he is experimenting with dangerous technology and can be dangerous for Earth. At the very core it's story about father and son. Not an action film. Slow and meditative exploitation film. Film about isolation and human connection.

Not exploitation but exploration

His dad was an scientist who went into space to study something really dangerous, Brad became an astronaut and was doing something in orbit when something bad happens and he falls back to Earth, then he gets sent off to look for his dad

It looked pretty cool

this
Ad Astra is going to be pure kino

I hope so. The first reactions from Venice are divisive but it seems like it is a James Gray film and not some studio garbage.

James Gray films are half the time worse than studio garbage

Space mystery/action/thriller. In short - kino.

Im actually interested because they show nothing
It’s a refreshing fucking change of pace from modern movie marketing

any woke negroes in it?

No

>Slow and meditative exploitation film.

I can't wait for it bros, this'll probably be the best film of the year

>films women will never understand

he goes to space to beat alien chinks

I bet half of Yea Forums will call it boring because it doesn't really have that much action but yes otherwise it will be one of those films.

Roasties love Gray
he's an essential arthoe favourite

Not really. Most of his films deal with father son relationship.

Thanks for letting me know you're retarded

>space film about isolation
I don't think Brad Pitt has the acting chops to carry a film like this by himself, not in the same way Rockwell or Gosling does

Watched a trailer months ago and was interested. I just need to know if it has enough spectical and audio goodness to warrant seeing it in the theater. If it has some crazy space shit like Gravity ill go see it.

>films women will never understand
Umm sweaty we understand mmkay? Men just need to cry more and your problems are solved duh.

His character is slightly autistic he doesn't show emotion until 3rd act. It should be a very subtle performance and Gray was praising him so we will see.

Pitt definitely has he acting chops to elevate the film.
Have you ever watched The Assassination of Jesse James?

Have you even read what he was talking about?
