With that said, saying Rosemary's Baby is bad because it carries a liberal message when the movie was made to highlight a changing cultural climate to something more liberal isn't in fair comment.
It's like saying some very old ancient master's painting is bad because you disagree with the political motivation. It's relevant to the time and is a cultural artifact showcasing history and culture. Obviously if it is some abstract shit, it's worthless.
In the 60s, we saw a death of the housewife role (not for the better, obviously), severe decline in religion in people's personal lives, and a rise in Satanism.
The movie may have skewed liberal but it was done at a technical level in such a fantastic 10/10 way to tie together all these critical changes that people saw in the 1960s compared to the previous generation.
