Battle scenes feel lackluster and dated, pacing is shit, acting is forced and overdramatic, and the stuttering effect during dramatic moments is silly.

Shit depiction of Rome in most aspects, shit story, shit characters, shit acting. Omar Sharif and his character was the only good thing about it. One of the worst media features about Rome. I get everything can't be I, Claudius, but the amount of dicksucking Gladiator gets for it's actual quality is disgusting.

sound track is good, the photography is good, the acting is good as it can be considering the screenplay and plot that is being used by Ridley Scott. He's a great visual artist, a vague storyteller, but not really good with coming up with stories.
