maybe not "best" but definitely top 5
The boy
I was really disappointed with how Scary Stories to tell in the Dark ended up after how good The Autopsy of Jane Doe was.
The ending is still screwed up though.
Kill List
Right answer: the vvitch
My answer: hereditary
>inb4 onions horror
Whatever. Post the wojaks. I don't care.
Add It Follows
>movie has sex in it
dropped, fuck women and fuck chad
Shitty poster, pretty good movie.
I can never find this movie in the DVD store. I look under V and all I find are V for Vendetta and Veronica Mars Season 3.
they make you think you're not going to see tits in the whole thing then at the end, TITS, glorious nice tits, and the movie is somehow elevated from okay to pretty good.
I tried watching this but the voices are so low and some of the scenarios like the peek-a-boo scene had me chuckling. Only thing I enjoyed was the father's voice, mostly because it was deep enough to be heard.
Not necessarily the best, but Insidious was probably the most influential movie in defining the decade's low-budget Blumhouse-style horror.
I've apparently seen 504 horror movies from the 2010s but my top picks are the same as everyone elses, this is probably #1 here's a bunch of stuff I really liked that hasn't been mentioned or usually doesn't get mentioned
The Wailing
Maniac
Livide
Eyes of My Mother
Liverleaf
A Dark Song
Snowtown
Absentia
Tomie Unlimited
The Borderlands
WER
Hounds of Love
Savageland
Honorable mention for best remake:
Evil Dead
Probably my favourite. I also really liked The Endless and The Ritual.
>The decade is nearly over
>The Wailing
Based.
>2009 was 10 years ago
I was going to suggest this but I forgot when it came out.
Fuck you I loved it
cabin in the woods
The 2016 Presidential Election
that movie was absolutely terrible
2/3rds were excellent then it just becomes OooOoOOo spooky haunted house flickering lights and banging doors.
Agreed. The autopsy part itself is really intriguing/unsettling as well as being a unique concept. Unfortunately the final act is uninspired crap, though at least we get more Roose Bolton.
>Directors of dead hooker in a trunk
kek
Seen this, shocked I haven't Seen dead hookers in a trunk
Underrated.
>A Dark Song
Genuinely so good, ppl in this thread who haven't seen should watch
