THEY DID IT AGAIN!

>TRoS D23 Trailer
>scene of Rey and Ren fighting
>Kylo's reflection is missing his cape
How does a multi-billion dollar company like Disney fuck up THIS much?

uh have sex

reflections never work right in video games

his cape is a force illusion, brah
I'm sure there are 3-4 wiki page to explain it if you look hard enough

t. RTXlet

I think there will be bigger problems with the film than NOOOOOO HIS CAPE DOESN'T REFLECT!!!!!

It just shows you how rushed this shit is, cracks me up actually

the movie isn't finished retard

oh, it's finished all right

Is this the first time you noticed unfinished CGI in a trailer? Lurk more.

kek

>RTX is a me-

Just ask them to show you the expanded universe source on Twitte--
OH WAIT THAT'S NOT CANNON!

Free BASING

>reflection
They also forgot to add the lightsabers reflection/light

rey's dick bulge isn't reflected either

I have no idea how they filmed cloaks before CGI existed. Some fantastical trick of the camera I suppose. Thank god production is so much easier and higher quality these days, thanks to the power of computers.

If only they could use it to make good movies.

>Rey and Ren fighting
Oh wow, what a tense battle! I'm sure she won't casually whoop his ass like she did in the first movie after literally 2 hours of Jedi training!

Rey's face is also poorly CGI'd onto the "evil" Rey. It's hard to tell what's just lazily done because it's just for the teasers/trailer (like they do with MCU stuff) and what's just a matter of the CGI not being done yet (or is finished and just done sloppily) because they're rushing everything at the last minute.

Why would you cgi a cape?

Brought to you by smart phones. Yes, instead of doing their job, they were on their phones liking and disliking shit.

Because real capes look like shit, don't bellow, and tangle on someone when they're play-fighting.

At least you can talk. Who are you?

Pajeets at the CGI division needed some assignment to stop shitting all around disney studios.

^bot post

Capeshit lol

the rain/water effects are practical, having to go through a wet cape every take is probably more expensive

You can make real cloaks do whatever you want if you're clever. Fans, wires, different materials. What you don't need is a team of VFX artists working 16 hours days.

Attached: 23525.jpg (625x352, 58K)

so they don't have to do this

Attached: 4RF23Sr.gif (380x213, 1.46M)

CGI was a mistake.

Try harder shill

Pure ART.

ITT: people who know precisely fuck all about VFX and the film making process. Cloth physics and mirror effects are intensive, they're not going to bother rushing both, just in time for a teaser trailer. Much as I like to shit on nuwars the number of retards who come on here and make reddit tier threads saying dumb shit like "oooh this film with a hundred and fifty million dollar budget forgot to add in the hulks ball hair" or "oooh dae see how they missed out on that lighting oh haha I'm so clever for noticing please give me (you)s". Most of these "mistakes" are never in the finished movies, and it's not because the helpful internet arseholes pointed them out, it's because they're being worked on at the time these trailers are being released. And in the meantime, all the retards like OP or the faggots on reddit who love to circlejerk themselves dizzy, are really doing, is giving these films free publicity and more views on their trailers. Fucking dumbasses

Beep boop blip

Ok lads, let's start predicting mistakes they leave in the movie, assuming they're as dumb now as they were last time
>Obvious cameraman visible in reflection
>More instances like OP where they forget to cg in reflections
>A part of someone's clothes is invisible becuase it's the same colour as the greenscreen
Anything else?

coca-cola can on a table

what happened here exactly?

Attached: rey.gif (498x274, 3.2M)

>Anything else?
They're going to leave in a Starbucks cup so that we will always have GoT and SW mashed together for all time.

People shouldn't have told them so it would have made it into the the final release

Jesus Christ.
Is there some supercut on YouTube of such based green people doing green screen magic?

You shouldn't spread this. Now Disney will likely fix it before release. I would prefer if they released the movie with these mistakes. If you find any more, keep them to yourself. It'll be worth it, pointing them out AFTER release.

Something something something........ downloaded Kylo Ren's knowledge into her brain.

Literally stole Kylo's training through mind rape.

not gonna lie I'd watch an entire movie composed just of green people shenanigans

there are like 30 seconds from the new movie in this "trailer". They could've easily picked something that is finished. But they don't have anything that is good except that final shot of Rey.
This movie is a disaster as it is this whole trilogy.

Didn't the disney website already spoiled dark rey?

This fucking cope

Yup, hilarious actually

>t. the guy about to get fired by disney

Attached: 1472772921135.gif (290x190, 1.98M)

see, that'd be a good idea

if it had happened.

and it didn't because it was not mentioned to have happened

because you thought about it more than they did

It's in the movie novel.

no one will ever read those and the people who do are mocked and shamed by the "mass appeal" audiences for being nerds, the same way those people would say "why should I read the books? they made a TV show and it' already AHEAD of the books!"

books don't count. this is Yea Forums. screenwriters are the only "authors" we should defer to

this looks like jean grey shot from xman 3

Ah, JJ's whole leave out huge chunks of the story and put it into novels and comics thing?

>not replying "it doesn't matter who I am"
baka

I KEEP TELLING YOU FUCKS THE ARE EDITING THE TRAILER SO YOU DONT KNOW REY IS A CLONE FIGHTING EVIL REY CLONE MADE BY PALPATINE.

What if this is what our universe is really like? With higher dimensional beings controlling the physics as we understand them.

>post yfw the reflection is actually an alternate Ben Solo dueling dark Rey

Attached: 8679865.jpg (381x333, 16K)

They dont forget. They work on CGI until the movie is released. Even the original star wars had shotty unfinished footage in the first trailer

Attached: 765676.jpg (1024x948, 119K)

And 4 nuWars books.

Fucking kek.

Women pushed into SFX dept by KK

>REY IS A CLONE FIGHTING
Nope. Already confirmed to be a vision thanks to Lucasfilm's accidental spoiler on the Star Wars website.

If they are free to ignore decades of sci-fi, both in Star Wars books/comics as well as other settings where they flesh out the intricacies of Hyperspatial travel, just because some moron wrote himself into a corner and thought of a cool shot, then I'm free to ignore their mere years of novelizations.

Attached: wtf.jpg (1280x720, 43K)

oh fuuck that's why it looks so off

Han solo says in a new hope if they don't wait for the computer to calculate a path for them before they jump to hyperspace they could hit a piece of space dust and be blown into a million pieces across the galaxy. In return of the Jedi an A-wing kamikazes his ship into a star destroyer's bridge. Said Star destroyer then rams the SSD and destroys it. During the attack on the first death star an xwing collides with it and penetrates several layers past its armor, showing explosions inside killing stormtroopers.

Based

And here's what you're missing, nufriend:

Han never talks about space dust, he talks about planets, stars, and supernovae, all of which create "dips" in the "terrain" of Hyperspace in precisely the same way that concentrations of mass/energy warp the fabric of 4space. People already familiar with Hyperspace as a sci-fi concept "got it" instantly, as it was a convention employed in multiple sci-fi stories spanning decades before Star Wars even existed. This is not only an elegant, entirely self-consistent explanation, but also works within several going theories concerning supergravity and M-Theory, both of which have gravity acting as the one fundamental force capable of exerting influence cross-dimensionally. And the collisions you're referencing didn't involve the use of hyperdrives, just normal "impulse" propulsion.

Here end
