Disney Accidentally Spoiled & Confirmed That "Dark Rey" Is a Vision in The Rise of Skywalker

>After Disney released a new trailer for The Rise of Skywalker at their D23 Convention last weekend, fans have been mystified by the surprising image of "Dark Rey." The once-heroic Rey appears at the end of the trailer holding a red lightsaber–with two blades, nonetheless–provoking both outrage and excitement from fans of the iconic franchise. J.J. Abrams is known for delivering big misdirection in the promotional campaigns for his films–remember when Finn, not Rey, wielded the lightsaber in the original poster for Force Awakens?
>Obviously, the director wants us to duke it out and build up feverish anticipation for the big finale to the decades-long Skywalker saga. But fans may have already ruined the big surprise about the so-called Dark Rey. The potential leaked info is based off a small detail that was posted, and then revised, on the Star Wars website.
>The word vision was replaced by "sight." That seems like a pretty big blooper to me. If Disney/Lucasfilm wanted us to believe that Dark Rey was a vision, it's an odd choice to use that word, and then change it. Same goes for the other way around. In either case, it's clear that the blog post used a word that it shouldn't have. It's up to the reader to decide what, exactly, this may mean for the reality of Dark Rey in the new film. But to me, it seems like Disney really boned it on this one. You heard it here first–Dark Rey is as fake as Luke Skywalker's right hand.

No shit it was going to be a vision or dream sequence. Did people actually think they would make Rey of all people a bad guy? It was painfully obvious to anyone with a brain and it was part of the trailer to get people talking and try to build hype.

Only little kids would think that they would turn her dark. If she really was going to join the dark side for real, they wouldn’t have put that scene in the trailer

BOOOOOOOOORING

Dont go on starwarsleaks if you want to keep a mildly good opinion of the intelligence of star wars fans

I hope it's a vision of Kylo amd Dark Rey having bareback anal sex.

That, along with Bob Iger apparently being involved with a lawsuit in association with the Weinstein allegations.
The Walt Disney Company is beginning to collapse.

Walt is spinning in his grave right now, powering the entire theme park

Back in 2016, someone claimed he was a high Satanic priest, similar to Schneider from Nickelodeon, and ritually sacrifices kids every weekend for power and success. For some reason, it always felt accurate. The guy gives off some weird vibes. And it’s becoming more apparent with each passing day that worshipping Lucifer is a requirement for entry into that field.

Finn is going to *cchkk* one of these open and take a long refreshing gulp in episode 9.

>The guy gives off some weird vibes.
I mean, he's yet another Jew with power in Hollywood. Why wouldn't he be evil?

>Did people actually think they would make Rey of all people a bad guy?

well they made anakin a bad guy too in the 3rd movie

Are you retarded?

>TFA has a Darth Rey fake-out in the trailer.
>No one buys it.
>Skywalker has a Darth Rey fake-out in the trailer.
>No one buys it.
Disney, we all know you won't sully your Mary Sue feminist icon. Stop playing at this trite bullshit.

Is anyone but kids surprised? I don’t mean to sound cynical but it was clearly JJ’s Hail Mary to get people to buy tickets and it would’ve been nothing. Just TFA and cloverfield paradox

Oh THANK DOG I was really scared for the past few days bros! I was really fucking scared we lost Rey to the dark side...I don’t like being spoiled but at least I’ll be able to sleep now ha ha!

>Did people actually think they would make Rey of all people a bad guy?
These are the same people who thought Mysterio “m-m-might actually be a good guy this time!” because of the Far from Home trailers. Despite companies having used “fake” and subverting trailers for years, none of them seem to grasp that these teasers are explicitly made to throw the viewer off.

Thing is Dark Rey would have made people excited because it would have made the film less boring. I think it is highly possible they are already expecting this film to be a box office failure.

RETICULATED

tell that to those sandniggers

They also know that people still like the OT, that's why they pushed so much nostalgia in this trailer.
This together with these false flag "visions" tells me one thing, they have nothing original to get people excited, they are desperately throwing everything at the screen (in the trailer) in the hope that something sticks.

The point to remember is trailers don't put asses in seats. Previous movies put asses in seats.

Does it ever end?

At least it would give her some character.
