Not really, I seed out of my own home via VPN and I still have a massive buffer on all my private trackers.
My upload speed isn't even very good.

Seedboxes are really just for epeen, a 5.0-10.0 ratio is easily obtainable with just seeding off a NAS or SBC.

A decent trick is to use Usenet (it’s where all the new torrents come from anyway) and then hop on without downloading anything.
