They’ve been pumping out the same exact shit ever since UT I guess they figured kids and euros will still buy the same shit even without the names

Hello lad. Already two threads about this, now a third. Not really necessary is it? Would appreciate if you could quickly look before posting. Thanks.

FIFA are going to do their own vidya

If EA doesn't want to pay the jew so much money who will?

>How did this happen?
money, EA realized they don't need FIFA anymore

2k hopefully, we need some real competition to ea

More like fifa lost ea lel. Who the fuck is gonna buy fifa's new game? EA still has all the needed licensing deals

>The company insists that despite losing the FIFA brand, its games will not change that much. Thanks to over 300 licensing deals, “the same great experiences, modes, leagues, tournaments, clubs and athletes” will be included in EA Sports FC, it said.

while fifa is out here saying the players only care about the name FIFA and won't give a shit about anything else

>In a strongly worded statement, FIFA president Gianni Infantino insisted that only games carrying its official license would be credible to fans of football.
>“I can assure you that the only authentic, real game that has the FIFA name will be the best one available for gamers and football fans,” he said.
>“The FIFA name is the only global, original title. FIFA 23, FIFA 24, FIFA 25 and FIFA 26, and so on – the constant is the FIFA name and it will remain forever and remain THE BEST.”

I know there's no chance of this but there is a timeline where a third competitor enters the ring and makes a football game that's actually good with the fifa license.

.

PESchads…..it’s finally our time once more

>Physical PC games
Do Poles really?
I hope it will have better player licensing.
See the post above.

all they need to do is bring the OG Konami crew and make PES 5 - 2023 edition

Who gives a fuck, these games are lootbox casino simulators first and football games a distant second, licensing or not

Make way for 2k

Dang it, I inverted my second and third answers!

EA will still pay for all the FIFPRO licences, just not the FIFA brand

winning eleven bros its our time

It'll take years before a new FIFA game comes out, if ever. Someone isn't going to slap together a working game in a little over a year (it'll likely be less than a year, they still have to find a developer...)
I would imagine EA owns everything related to the game development so another developer can't just come in and just start where EA left off. They are going to have to start entirely from scratch. Assuming they don't already have football game developed, Konami is the only one that springs to mind and they won't buy the rights.
Lets see: animations, facial scanning, stadiums, kits, commentary, player stats, sorting players/teams....I could go on.
Shit on EA's copy+paste games, but that sounds like a nightmare to develop for from scratch.
No developer is going to spend a billion on the rights for 4 years, if it's going to take them that long to make a game. FIFA is fucked and EA knew it.

pretty sure that's a mobile exclusive only franchise now

they seem super out of touch and are bluffing hard
>According to the footballing body, discussions are currently ongoing with “leading game publishers, media companies and investors” in regard to the development of a new FIFA simulation football game for 2024, which would directly compete with EA Sports FC.
>Sooner than that, multiple “non-simulation” games are already under production and will launch during the third quarter of this year, the first of which is described as “a tailored gaming experience” featuring the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.

tell me you're over 30 without telling me you're over 30

fifa lost it's soul back in '07 then it was briefly revived in '14. based fifa sticking it to ea.

Who cares, football games stopped being good when you didn't have to start them with load"*",8,1

Nintendo should buy the license and include real teams in Mario strikers

This is Football chads will take it from here

I literally just want a mix between Football Manager's autism and FIFA's gameplay, if possible. Is that too much to ask?

I'm surprised EA is even that lazy to make certain parts of Career Mode more like FM.

The age of adult footballers having to hold oversized video game cards is over. Thank you Allah.

It's gonna go to a cheap chinese mobile game kek

>“a tailored gaming experience” featuring the FIFA World Cup Qatar 2022.
It'll just be
>FIFA Panini Virtual Sticker Book Qatar 2022 now available for iOS & Android!

Just let 2k sports make Fifa 2k

I just want a game with arcade feel, 2K GAMES, EA And Konami make slow ass hyper realistic games..

Meant to add to this but hit enter.

>they seem super out of touch and are bluffing hard
Absolutely. Anyone who knows anything about game development knows it's monumental task. Just look at WWE2K20, they didn't even have to start from scratch. No company on Earth is going to be able to make FIFA 24 a reality.
I know people say that the license will be picked up by someone else, but no developer is going to touch it. It's going to take 3-4 years for a working game. The license costs 1 billion for four years unless FIFA give them a pass (lolno) for the first game. EA will have the market since they'll still be steadily releasing games.
It's a risk nobody is going to take.

Maybe this is why Konami changed everything to efootball, so they could use classic PES for a new FIFA full release.

This is the challenge for brands or license holders. Do they have the same capability to deliver and create their content as established players? If they don't, the power relationship shifts back.

Konami is bankrupt. They can't afford the FIFA license.

maybe FIFA bought PES

Twice the time Duke Nukem Forever took, will it suck twice as much?

Attached: who wrote this shit.jpg (1439x169, 31.36K)

are they going to buy the development team or have an adequate replacement for them? will FIFA be able to competently manage producing a video game?

They're talking about the series.

Viva Football comrades, rejoice

At this rate, no one can.

>PES 5 tier game + Licenses
That would be incredible.

This but FM mixed with PES.
It will never happen as Miles is a gay cunt but I've wanted that shit for years.

>PESchads…..it’s finally our time once more
PES has been hosting the only sports vidya thing that matters anymore for a decade.

>EA
>One of the shittiest company ever known to videogames who made itself using sport games' brands
>also the same cancerous pushing microtransactions cancer into games
>Now loses one of the biggest one worldwide
Based FIFA
>mfw
I hope EA dies.

>
user, Konami nuked their videogames' division in 2015 with a glorious trainwreck involving Hideo Kojima.

This.

>Footy games gets reignited
>Solid actual footy games and arcade footy games like the 90s/early 2000
Sign me the fuck up, brother.

Thank god. Now if only nfl did the same we could get some actually good sports games

Pes 09 was the shit. Unlocked all the legends, then maxed everyone's stats to play pure true ultimate teams 1v1 against my mate.
Playing online against mostly South Americans in the years after was also based

are you a retard they will hire a third party developer

20 years ago the only thing American kids knew about soccer was FIFA. Now all zoomer kids know FC stands for Football Club

The first thing EA bought? A hot meal.

the only thing you pay FIFA for is to use the words "FIFA" and "WORLD CUP." They don't need FIFA rights to have national teams. They pay the premier leagues for team rights. Just a waste of money to pay FIFA to just use the name FIFA on the cover, especially when FIFA is a massively corrupt organization

>especially when FIFA is a massively corrupt organization
Wtf? EA neglected ever actually attempting to improve their game as all they cared about was selling micro-transactions to children. They are cut from the same cloth.

FIFA is a saint compared to EA.

fuck if I know I don't play vidya why do kids have credit cards?

Why do kids have anything? Back in my day all we had were sticks and if you were real lucky maybe a ball. We turned out alright.

Video games are for kids

*debit
Get on with the times, grandpa.

Relax, EA will do FIFA 23 this year and THEN the split will happen.
