the family needed more scenes or the villain needed fewer. either the antagonist is important (which he doesn't feel that way) and it should be more personal than his 6 misfit minions, or save the super family for the sequel. it just felt really crowded

SHAZAM! is probably the most preschool-tier superhero capeshit to date and that should be difficult considering what the MCU has brought us. Nah, SHAZAM! is a decent film but it certainly doesn't beat the MCU.

I liked how they put in life lessons for kids, such as with his newfound power he had responsibility, and when play time is over he had to use his power to protect his family and help the public.

I also think they were subtly implying that Billy was getting in his own way in terms of wisdom. It's like he spends the whole movie slowly "unlocking" that one.
