On my first watch, I thought the musician guys would be the final boss of the movie.

sub. english dub is awful. my language dub is allright

how did it feel to find out they were jobber and that coolie died right away like a chump?

Yeah it's bad but it seems like it was mad bad on purpose, it elevates the humor

funny and holds up to this day. story of course is garbage but this clearly wasn't made for story, just for cool, over the top action and it's pure kinography in the distilled form imported from asia.

it works as long as you see it only as a parody/homage of old kung fu flicks which have notoriously awful dub
it ends up hindering the sincere moments though, that are as important as the comedy and elevate the movie to more than a parody
