I love Seinfeld, but I feel like you're crapping on it because it's not even remotely edgy despite how good it is (also back when sexy women could be on a family show with Pam Anderson and Heidi)

Also Two And a Half Men has too many bad seasons. Most sitcoms like That 70's Show have one bad season with the new retard character, but Two and a Half has 4 seasons of it.

An element you have to get used to with the show is that it has no proper resolutions a lot of the time, which can be used to great effect, like how Doug was scaring Deacon's kid with this lobsterman story and kept progressively making it worse, ending in a scene where Carrie beats the crap out of Doug dressed in a clown costume. You'd think they'd come back to it and say "Well, it all turned out fine and the kid now likes Doug", but it doesn't do that.

They made it to be junk food tv. The entire shows value was "woah, 70s fashion and sets!" and that was original enough to get people watching. None of the jokes were good and the plot was always made up in like 5 minutes, it was the original Big Bang Theory. Arguably watchable but still junk.
