it has a story but it isn't important. the real meat of the game is the post-game, where the difficulty ramps way up and you have to do a ton of grinding, which doesn't require a ton of keen attention. so i'd just grind while watching a series or a movie.

it's not really a slow movie, not fast either, I'd say the pacing is perfect.

i remember back in high school, my friends and i used to just put on a rush hour 2 dvd and just use that as background music while we drank and talked. good vibes, and if there was ever a lull in the conversation, that movie would fill that gap. i've probably seen it well over 1000 times and could go for another 1000, great movie.

A good slow burn to watch while drinking is The Ninth Gate. That Johnny Depp book dealer movie.

I watched this once on shrooms. I loved it but my gf freaked the fuck out when they staked Lucy so we had to stick her in a trunk in the garage. We broke up soon after.

I prefer Peter Cushing in the role of Van Helsing honestly and Keanu was fucking terrible in this movie. Everything else is fine or great.

Keanu was a victim of his own casting at the time. He was always picking up the slightly dimwitted hunky guy role. Check him out in Dangerous Liasions. Literal copy paste. He was typecast for a bit, and started moving away from it with Speed, it was only after that movie that he was taken a bit seriously.

Everyone was a bit crap or completely over the top. Keanu's woodeness was all part of the theatricality.
