Tyler, s2 ending cliffhanger was him going to shoot up the school. Clay and the gang stop him and spend all of s3 babysitting and taking care of him. I actually thought the suicide scene was one of the only things they did right. Most media shows suicide as quick and painless, but the scene emphasized that suicide (especially by a method like wrist slitting) is fucking agony. But I guess it triggered all the moms.

It's more the fact they showed suicide is the perfect way to get revenge on everyone at school who was a dick to you, and that after you die everyone's lives will completely revolve around you and they'll be constantly thinking about how great you were.
