Based. Another thread resolved.

Yeah. Lovecraft vibe to it

Yes.

Rafe is a little annoying

Great flick. Seen it twice now. Watch it foo.

Is it gory at all?

the characters are annoying bitches and you will end up rooting for their demise

but you won't be disappointed

I felt bad for the fat one

The only thing I got from this movie is that brits apparently live in the dark ages because they're still going around robbing stores wth machetes and the men there are too pussified to know how to disarm or subdue knife-wielding robbers.

I loved it. I love /innawoods/ horror.

Stay

Out

Of

The

Woods!

Post pics of the creature pls

enjoy

Those vapid brits with their hollow lives were far scarier than the monster

Attached: 269911.jpg (768x1024, 203K)

>hollow lives
what makes their lives hollow?

It has a lot of really good shots.

"hey were are middle aged and depserately try to act like we are not we are also tied down with families we seemingly hate and are just generally miserable bastards who go on "lads holidays""

I enjoyed it. It’s kinda spooky

I was extremely stoned before watching this with a friend, and I'm usually of the belief that watching movies high is a meme, but it fucked me up, had me viscerally empathizing with them. I barely remember the movie but the feeling was terrifying. Sober it was probably just a pretty good horror movie, but it was pretty spooky in my state.

and here's just the head.
put it to good use

It's fine

I had to read that a couple times, but it does make sense.

you have to read it in a cockney accent to really decipher what he meant by this

Akimov is in it, so yes.

Attached: Akss.gif (636x339, 1.66M)

Ah, that checks out.

I watched it. The pacing is bad, it seems entirely rushed. Glasses guy is so fucking annoying he ruins the movie almost entirely, and the movie's moral is about facing your fears; at the end, the VERY end, what the main character does involving shouting is pretty fucking pointless and seems almost comical when we were just taken through a series of almost-death scenes a few minutes before. I don't know what they were going for when they made this movie, it's like a roadtrip combined with a teen comedy combined with grown fucking men acting like complete and total pussies. At least the cult chick was hot

Shut the fuck up.

I liked glasses guy. He was emotional.

One of my favourite new b grades it's kino

What was that old lady chewing?

falls apart in the last act

The first 45 minutes is amazing, but the whole monster/cult reveal was absolutely ASS.

>hurr durr you can't cross this line even though you're an almighty powerfuly god/deity or whatever the fuck

Absolutely fucking retarded. But the whole build up in the forest shit was done well.

ya, I honestly think it was better than the book which almost never happens

>depserately try to act like we are not
I think they were in their 30s and they just went on a hike together I don't see what's so desperate about that

>we are also tied down with families we seemingly hate and are just generally miserable bastards
Sounds like a lot of projection on your end there m8

DOES THAT MEAN THEY SAY THE N-WORD

There is a black woman in it, so it's possible.

Sorry i made fun of your movies characters, i am sure your life is totally satisfying and not dreary or depressing

>Sorry i made fun of your movies characters
I didn't even particularly like the film I just never got the impression their life was hollow. Based on your interpretation it sounded mostly like projection on your end.

>i am sure your life is totally satisfying and not dreary or depressing
Why do you type like such a bitter passive aggressive nerd?

He was the spawn of a demigod, not even a real god.

that statue was cool as fuck too

>Why do you type like such a bitter passive aggressive nerd?
where do you think we are right now?

I didn't think I was on reddit yet you type exactly like a passive aggressive beta redditor.

Keep me posted

First half is pretty good, cabin and forest scenes are good. It goes downhill when you actually see the monster, since they show it too much. Takes away the mystery.

oh hello fellow Akimfag

Attached: 1561553432477.jpg (480x480, 24K)

well hello

Attached: we_should_have_followed_the_rules.jpg (1340x656, 65K)

yup and it was actually shot in sweden unlike midsommar

yike ummmm can you say projection much?
this is not a good look on you. let that sink in...

I thought it was Romania

It's okay, but the book was better. It didn't need to invent a death to explain why college friends grow apart.

The monster in the film was great though.

where was midsommar filmed?

>The Fat asshole yelling at the main guy for not fighting in the beginning as if the fat businessman dickhead would've gone in swinging

Pisses me off

It took you watching this movie to realize that? No one has guns, what else are the robbers supposed to use?

And yeah, the non-criminals can't arm themselves so the smart move is to avoid the conflict.

I hope he gets a better agent, he's only cast in shitty horror flicks and Chernobyl.

Best monster in years tbqh.

$26.99 for a watermelon?

it was

Attached: Baiului-4.jpg (1000x750, 378K)

The movie is based on the book, and the latter half of the book is utter garbage. The movie, abysmally, actually does more justice to the story.

>THIS

in english, doc

might read the book. is it good?

It was kinda cool

The only Netflix shit i really enjoyed watching

The Fox of Wet Blankets enters the thread.

Instead of participating in thread discussion, this fox just wants to point out that you're currently at the edge of the board and about to die. =^_^=

Attached: Laura.png (189x274, 75K)

oh shit just realized this is the dude from black christmas

Well, of course you felt bad for Akimfu

Attached: akimov-sam-troughton-1559828847.jpg (480x480, 24K)

I didn't care for it, over-produced. The first night scene was decent though.

Hungary

>AHHH ME FOOKIN LEG AH CAN'T WALK LADS
>IT'S BEEN 12 MONTHS AND I STILL CAN'T GET OVER MY DEAD IRISH SUBHUMAN FRIENDS DEATH
>LADS I THINK THIS FOOKIN FOREST IS SPOOKED
>CMON LADS LETS MOOOVE
there, summed up just about every line of dialogue in this piece of shit
