who can play L in the inevitable live action readaptation of des noto
Now that the netflix version wont be getting a sequel
no sequel??? fucking bullshit. I hate nerds. It was a good adaptation.
Ezra Miller as L, Zac Efron as Light.
You need an actor who'd look believable as a scruffy weirdo who's sleep deprived. So whomever that is is the guy who should be your L.
Now lets get to the real question and who voices the new Ryuk, or do we petition to get Dafoe back?
even disregarding its an adaption, it was straight up a bad film. The pacing is stupidly fast, acting all around is terrible except for, ironically, L's actor. Cinematography was terrible and the script was shit
Light would be some handsome Japanese guy and L can be some autistic quarter Japanese, quarter English, quarter Russian, quarter French or Italian guy like Ohba intended.
Some nigger would be fine
good casting but Ezra would fag it up
Keep Dafoe
Jake Gyllenhaal maybe for L? He was kind of like L for Zodiac
>implying L wasn’t a big fag
The inevitable reboot should be a show, and actually do the whole L using a death row inmate as live bait for Kira thing.
And if it has to be a US setting, then have it I guess be broadcasted throughout say - the Chicago metro area, so as to match that he's looking throughout the country for Kira.
>Handsome
>Japanese
Light already looks supee white just cast a pretty white dude
Yea, the guy that played L actually nailed it for the most part, all the quirks and mannerisms, but the rest of it was just so fucking bad.
I mean, I get it, you gotta dumb it down to get americans to watch it, but goddamn, its probably the worst butchering of source material i've seen in quite a while.
Penn Badgely as he looks like someone an American L would look like.
Now, lets get into the nitty gritty and who plays idiot goddess Misa? Or is she not allowed to be stupid?
>Mfw Mia was more like Light Yagami than Light Turner was.
scenes women will never undestand general?
Are they really not going forward with a sequel? Well damn, I wanted to see how they'd fuck up Rem, or worse - bring in Near.
>An actor’s personal life has anything to do with an acting role
Derp
A NI-
-CE Fucking mask, bro!
the anime is homoerotic as fuck
>Rem but she's voiced by Kate Beckinsale.
We could've had it bros, we could have.
>you gotta dumb it down to get americans to watch it
I don't buy this anymore. It's always an excuse used for movies that nobody liked adapted from source material that everybody loved. Dumbing shit down just pisses everybody off.
