Rey either is Palpatine, or his child somehow

Oh man, I think I stumbled upon something.
The main melody of Rey's theme PERFECTLY harmonizes with the Emperor's theme. I'll try to put it together so you can hear. It's uncanny.
Also what I recall is that Williams was directed to make Rey's theme sound like a nursery music.
Combined it sounds like Emperor's theme with a "nursery" harmonization on top of it.
I'm not sure what to make of it, Rey is either Palpatine's child or somehow is him, as the two melodies work perfectly well together, even the cadence is exactly the same.
Give me a moment to get these files from somewhere to put them together, if I'm correct these melodies are 100% complimentary.

Palpatine will posses Rey

OK but who cares?

OP, no. That's just how music works.

Compositions that written in the same key use the same pool of notes that "harmonize" together.

here's a cool experiment you can try:

download any piano app to your phone that allows you to highlight the piano keys according to the key you're in
next go fire up your favorite pop song and google which key this song uses
now switch to said key on your piano app and play ANY of the highlighted keys
you will quickly realize that any note from that pool played at any time of the song will perfectly harmonize and sound "right" to your ears

god it would be so fucking based if Rey is Palpatine from the future who warps to the past and becomes palpatine

They already did that with the Gungan victory theme in Ep.1

user, I know what I'm talking about, I was literally studying these songs for a thesis on film score and use of themes (I know it's a cookie cutter subject matter, but eh).

I've adjusted the speed of Emperor's suite to match with Rey's theme and put them together, here you go.

Give it a listen and tell me if you still think this is a coincidence.

Alright, this really does sound like it could have been from the same arrangement. The rhythm is definitely uncanny.

That being said, I also know how lazy composers can be. The asshole in me would just write it off as "William's assistent used the old project scores as templates and/or blueprints for the new score." Which also aligns with the fact how TFA was essentially using ANH as a blueprint.

Pretty damn cool, user.

>inb4 Anakin was so OP that he literally force-cloned himself

that doesn't go together as well as you think it does.

Overtones are all over the place but this is the nature of classical compositions. Focus on the root notes.

that's because he adjusted the speed while keeping the pitch, which results in glitches and dissonance

Guys guys I got it, Palpatine is reborn as a girl as Rey.

Did you just try to make a theory about star wars?

Don't you know you're the reason Star Wars is awful now? You're thinking about these movies and making nuanced and thought out ideas based off the images shown to you by that team is making everything worse! You need to stop talking about Star Wars except in the acceptable boundaries, which is praising it.

Your Palapatine theory sucks.

>Palpatine will posses Rey

Disney could unironically end the series with a tranny as emperor of the galaxy.

I'm just making some observations:
>1. Despite the popular consensus, it appears that the story for the trilogy was actually planned out in advance, or at least Rey's fate was.
>2. I'm appreciating John William's genius and nuance.
>3. I believe this was done intentionally considering the explicit direction to make this part of the song sound like a nursery song.

She's 1 of the 13 replicas he created in order to possess them and finally manage to create the χ-saber, in order to enter the physical realm of the Force.

>Despite the popular consensus, it appears that the story for the trilogy was actually planned out in advance

you mean J.J. just picked up right were he left off because TLJ didn't advance any major character developments

Whoa there user didn’t you get the Snoke memo? Coming up with theories about what might happen in future movies based on existing clues is a Bad Thing. See, the only way you can end up disliking a move is if you come up with a head cannon and get your expectations subverted. If you speculate at all you’re already fucked.

>I'm just making some observations:
He's makng fun of the Rian Johnson and a lot of 'fans' laying the blame of the backlash for Last Jedi at the feet of fans who 'couldn't let go of their theories'. There was literally an article about how theories are ruining Star Wars and Rian Johnson's "Your Snoke Theory Sucks" pic is pretty much a meme at this point.

What would redeem this franchise is the idea that Rey is not a clone of Palplatine, ....but she's just a midichlorian baby created the same way as Anakin was.

Palpatine manipulated the force to create Anakin to help overthrow the republic.

Now in ghost-form, he created Rey (through junker/nobody parents) to do his bidding, or at least generally serve the Dark Side of the force.

Easy guess: Rey is the second force baby created by Palpatine after he finally decided that Anakin was useless

This also explains Kylo's motivation. He wanted to be Vader, he wanted to be seen as a worthy force baby in the eyes of the Emperor, finish what Vader started.
