Not that guy but I watched Billions season one when it was airing but had to drop it. So many cringy scenes that try to make the characters look badass. Other than being about the rich there really isn't any comparisons.

S1 starts off withh two white Alphas determined to take each other down. It's just this big clash of huge personalities. Giamatti practises BDSM with his wife, but it's a C-Plot. Some SJW shit (lmao witebois) but nothing serious. In S2 they introduce a "non-binary" savant. The goblin is awful, but tolerable since the role is rather small. The BDSM gets more attention. In S3 they add Malkovich as a Russian Mobster and the goblin gets even more screentime; she's a proper supporting character and Axelrod's protege. By S4 the goblin is the main antagonist, hoards half the screentime, Axelrod (the guy with the Hedge Fund) hates her guts and trashes ehr all the time, but somehow uses "their preferred pronouns". Giamatti admits that he loves BDSM and wins the people's favor because "fuck puritans and shit; accept what you are". Lots of drug use and the like. Lisa Ann makes a cameo. I dropped it when they had the negress from Gaimatti's old office go on about how it's important to let people vote through mobile phones so that the "disenfranchised" can have a voice, that it's the "correct, democratic" choice, and then literally says anyone who doesn't support it is a Nazi.

Just avoid it. S3 is tolerable only because of Clancy Brown, but he appears so little in S4 that it's best to just never start it. The story's going in circles anyway. It started off as Alpha Male and Wealth Porn, but now it's jsut tranny rights and nigger victim complex.
