BJH's only good movie is memories of murder and that's because it took a simple but effective crime story and put tonal shifts on it like karaoke and high kicks, it felt fun and fresh while still delivering a good formulaic dark thriller. The Host, Okja and snowpiercer are basically capeshit for normie and onion audiences with superficial attempts at subtext, and Mother is just dull and uninspired.
