Bivol is such a composed boxer. His defense was superb and he looked 100% switched on the entire fight. I think Canelo only landed like 1 or 2 really clean punches the whole fight. Manouvered himself around the ring and off the ropes perfectly. First time in years ive seen canelo look genuinely lost

People forget that Canelo has LONG had stamina issues. It was the biggest weakness people continually pointed out in his fight game until the GGG fight or so. I sincerely think roids made it less of an issue for him. As for tonight, 175 is not a healthy weight for him, and Bivol made him work way harder than Kovalev did when he last fought at that weight.

I think that was a very winnable fight for Canelo going into it, he bungled it bad. I'd blame it on the veganism, no energy to keep up with a naturally bigger guy.

I agree with him that Kov was better. Not 10x better, but definitely better in his prime. Excellent technique and power. Biggest issue he had was that his style was relatively one-dimensional being so reliant on just trying to land the right straight. In that regard, I might say that Bivol has a broader skillset, but I think Kov definitely has the better technique.

Guys, I'm happier than anyone Canelo lost. Especially after the disrespectful talks of him fighting Usyk.. But i gotta admit.. The ginger bastard does have balls to have kept moving up in weight until he found his match. And now is activating the rematch clause.
