Post your star wars guilty pleasures
Is that the shit dice one or the based old one I can’t tell
This was a weird one but I was all about it
>Disney trash
Shill kikes.
Dice one. They have updated it since release to be pretty close to the original now though
What do you think guilty pleasure means?
You're not being serious are you? Playing a literal grindfest is somehow enjoyable to you? I can hardly imagine the type of person you are
>SHIIIIIILLLL
>SSSHHHHIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIILLLLLL
Grow a brain.
Nearly every single game is just playing the same loop again and again. I haven't played it, but I fail to see why Battlefront 2 would be any worse in that regard.
What are you grinding for? You start with the base versions of everything except weapon varients, which barely matters because the defaults are some of the strongest in the game
But you can unlock everything in like 7 hours
This game is terribly balanced but that’s what makes it fun
I wanted to play this but first had to download like 200gb of patches and updates. Then I found out you have to basically be online to even enjoy the bot skirmishes, you also need an EA account to play MP fuck ALL that shit, fuck EA and modern video games.
This. This shit is so fucking cool
Only the trailer though
Please, Dice, all I ask for are these chads.
That’s all I want.
Literally the entire franchise until Lucas sold it
>pretty close to the original
>every single map is a meatgrinder instead of a couple
The game loop should be fun at it’s core and have enough variety to justify replay value. I’ve been playing the literal RNG endgame of Monster Hunter World for the past month, and it’s still fun to me because of weapon and monster variety.
EA BF2, on the other hand, is repetitive, boring, and lacking in any depth
yep this thread is half data mining/half cope for disney to guage what theyve done right and to fellate themselves thatbthe fans who hate their shit are secretly still obsessed which is what theyve been projecting for awhile now
You think every game is a boring EA grinder ? The fuck is wrong with you, literally play one good video game or kys
Sneed
dumb lootbox whale
There literally aren't lootboxes.
Dark Empire, unironically.
more of the Imperial Civil war though, that was class. anything to do with the Imperial Remnant post disney was kino.
>caps lock is cruise control for cool
and that user is completely right you are both a shill and a faggot
Monster hunter fucking suck the big one, the worst part of anime faggotry + repetitive nothing gameplay, which means you either have sub 90 IQ or are way too deep into the life sink hole that is anime.
after everyone brought up how messed up it was and several countries and the EU went after EAs scamming asses only fools and whales tolerate eas shit at this point
Podracing is kino and they should make a flim about it
>No film about a hotshot podracer who gets into dodgy dealings with an underground race fixing group who are actually led by the trade federation as a means to gather money to fuel war production
pleb filtered
>waaahh i cant just buy my way into winning and need to actually play the game
this is you EA whale
I'm going to download this again when they add instant action and commandos. Back in the day I loved playing the old one against AI all day long.
Sounds like a good film user, funny how anons can come up with better stories than their story group
Yeah and now there aren't any
doesnt change the fact that it took legal actions from multiple countries to get them to change imagine still cucking for such a shite company
>Post your star wars guilty pleasures
I'm playing it now 8)
I still play SWTOR religiously, and enjoy it.
Doesn't make the game any worse
How are these games now?
I heard from someone playing swtor its literally a straight cash grab because its about to be ded.
I'd like to try out battlefront 2 but I hate EA and dont want to give them anymore money. I still play BF4.
EA battlefront 2 still doesnt have the features of a 2005 video it was based off of, is terribly balance and is made by EA thats a hard pass
Can't speak on old republic stuff but BF2 has had all of it's ea jewishness stripped entirely. No lootboxes, on sale for like 8 bucks usually, free DLC.
I personally love it if only for the level of immersion it brings. It's the best star wars battle simulator you can get right now
It has some modes removed, some added. It's a different game.
Also Krell from the Clone Wars
still has pay2win and multiple unlockables behind pay walls its just not AS bad as when it first came out. only get this game if you enjoy EA fucking you for all its worth
It's objectively a really good game after all the updates, not exactly a guilty pleasure.
No user it doesn't. There is nothing to buy outside of purchasing the base game. Microtransactions are entirely removed
>I heard from someone playing swtor its literally a straight cash grab because its about to be ded.
It's more alive now than it was three years ago. Subs are up, expansions happening on a good schedule, a new playable species debuts next month, story is progressing, new tactical gear system getting implemented, no more grinding for lootboxes (which were a bit too RNG for anyone's liking) for gear you couldn't craft. All in all, very worth $15 a month for a sub and maximum access to everything. To put it in perspective, I dumped my WoW sub long ago and still don't miss it, but I'd give a trucker a lotion-palmed handy to keep my SWTOR sub going.
weapon skins are literally unobtainable unless you buy them also the game is a shitty unoptimized mess
You buy them with points you get while playing the game, and there are even cards which multiply the points you get that you can assign to your character for free.
And it's working at 75+ fps on my 5 years old PC, what the hell you're talking about. The only complaint in this regard can be that loading times are painful, but that's because the game waits for all players to have the game loaded before it puts them in the lobby which is dumb.
Weapons are unlocked with milestones.
Skins are purchased with currency that there is no possible way to spend real money on even if you wanted to. There are NO microtransactions
just admit you have either very low standards or youre a shill no one ive ever talked to has anything good to say about this hack job of a game
It's not our fault literally everything you have said about the game has been factually wrong.
Its ok for a 5$ game when I got it at sale.
This.
>spend $20
>cover the wall with Rose Ticos
I'm not seeing a bad to this.
ea bf2 goes on sale for $5 constantly pick it up when its on sale
It has sold additional 8 million copies in Q1 2019, not too shabby for a game that was already a year old by that time. It's doing fine and doesn't need anyone defending it. You're free to criticize it, but you're just pulling things out of your ass.
>new playable species
what is it?
>how do you do fellow anons please buy my- i mean EAs imrpoved and totally not garbage year old game its only $5 haha
desperate
Nautolans
>this but unironically
Game is dead, barely anyone plays it. It did not sold that much. Sources?
>EA actually does something good, listens to negative feedback, introduces tons of content, literally makes the game 4 times bigger than it was on release.
>Let's be negative about it nevertheless.
Why, user? Seriously, if you're feeling down, we're here for you.
If anything we should be happy that corporations are finally listening to their audiences.
>EA and lootboxes bad!
>Also we can't let Ajit Pai shut down the interwebs!!!!! Fuck Drumpf!!!!
Smells like Reddit in here
It WAS dead, but since they introduced Clone Wars content and two new massive game modes (basically old Battlefront, but prettier) matchmaking lasts seconds, at least on PC, so I think it's plausible.
Remember how nobody was playing CS:GO for the first year after release?
>prentending EA dindu nuffin and benevolently listened to their fans and not having their wrists twisted by the US, UK and EU literally writing new laws to combat how predatory their business practice was
who the fuck are you fooling
>It did not sold that much.
Opinion discarded
it is dead hence this desperate sweaty shill thread haha user please buy its only $5
>Facts are considered shilling nowadays.
Geez.
>haha guys buy this game its totally popular
>It did not sold that much sources?
>Opinion discarded
EA isnt sending their best
>Game is dead
Then how was i playing it on PC 10 minutes ago? I had no problem finding a game
>lies are facts if i repeat them enough
But the bad shit was removed regardless. I don't care if they were forced to do it at gunpoint, the game is good now
Battlefrontstats.com says that currently there's ~600,000 people playing it on PC at this exact moment.
They're using the Origin API for this, so it's not counting the players who are set to be "invisible" on Origin. No data on console numbers, but it's likely more than this.
If it was on Steam, it would've been the 4th most popular game in there, it's literally almost as popular as fucking PUBG.
It would actually be the second most popular game on Steam, the first number in these stats is the current count of players, the second number is peak for the day.
>584,857 people playing BF2
>546,611 people playing CS:GO
>347,324 people playing PUBG
...bbbut it's a dead game!
I don’t have any. Star Wars sucks.
Lol.
I don't have the document that was released for shareholders on hand, but it was more than 20 million copies by Q2 2019. Let go of copium, embrace the fact that they dug themselves out of the hole in a spectacular fashion, this is something to celebrate, not to be mad about.
Also this.
The comments shitting on Battlefront are only proving how much the initial impression matters. At it's current state it's a really good game with more than a healthy player base. It just had an absolute shitshow of a launch.
so has anyone bought the game yet its only $5 someone? anyone?
I play that game regularly. I also enjoyed Rogue One and have seen every Nu-Wars movie in the cinema and have no intention of stopping. I will be pirating the Mandalorian, though.
Eh. Even if it launched like this Yea Forums would hate it.
It's star wars after all. You just need to learn to ignore them
I did last month
Go for it, it's worth it. Just start with some smaller scale game modes first because you're going to get mowed otherwise without knowing the fundamentals of how the game plays.
To clarify what some other user said, there are micro transactions, but only in such capacity that you can buy additional credits. You can farm them so quickly just by playing that it doesn't really matter.
Its pretty good game now.
Actually there is no way to buy credits at all anymore
