Nothing of value was lost

Is this the movie that triggered the alt-right because they thought the rich assholes were supposed to be the heroes?

What if instead of not releasing it, they release it but give a percentage of the money to those who they think this movie will hurt:
They are losing money anyway by delaying the release, might as well attempt something good with it.

Really?
Everyone was telling me that a hypothetical group of 'conservatives' and 'trump supporters' were quite literally storming the HQ of Universal and holding the staff there hostage demanding the film be banned and that Trump himself threatened to carpet bomb Hollywood for making this movie,
Weird.

Congratulations to the USA for finally solving their mass shooting problem by banning this movie. Truly an epic victory royale

no that's not true, they did not want to carpet bomb Hollywood, but Drone strike it with hellfire missiles then get the national guard on the ground to eliminate all resistance and finally get FEMA to put the rest in black coffins.

Oh, shit really?
Damn. No wonder they didn't release this movie.
Fuck Russia for putting the orange cheeto man in office. These are truly dark times for america indeed.

What is this double think pretending Yea Forums won't getting pissed off as fuck at this movie just a couple weeks ago?

The 'liberals' in the movie are clearly the bad guys so there's no reason why /pol/ would be upset about it.

I wrote
and I was just making fun of that silly premise. I know nothing about this movie just that it has guns and people getting killed.

What does it mean? Does Hollywood incite violence? During Thirteen reasons why there was a jump in teen suicides. Maybe the culture is realising something. But is it to blame, or is the government's violence and abuse more culpable, as Marilyn Manson says in Bowling for columbine. Hollywood, the symptom and cause of violence. Will there be less violence, will films become better?

I'm a drumpf supporter and I will never watch it but I don't get why they would not release it anyway. The Purge movies were much worse in using real life political violence to sell tickets and no one gave a shit. Who the fuck cares if Trump shat on it, won't that make liberals flock to see it? Just seems weird

I get it they afraid to release it in America, but what about other territories that doesn't have a disturbing fetish for guns?

I just keep thinking about how the director of this co-created Homestar Runner.

Congratulations on being a cumbrain
The purge was an exploration of a dystopian future with no ties to current political climate other than an allegory of rich people isolating themselves from the suffering of poor. This film is incitement to violence of current political groups. Literal antfa/'alt-right' porn.

The movie's woke message was literally "they may be racists and bigots, but in fact, we aren't better than them if we murder them for fun"

Its makers were so lost within their own delusions, they thought it was a controversial and subversive moral (ignorant/rural racists are always expected to be portrayed as irredeemably evil villains with dumb cartoon-tier logic)
Yet the movie was so progressive and provocative, it presented a new, despicable type of people, just as bad as the rural bigots: insane millionaire serial killers.
The twist, is having the viewer sympathize with a random rural retard rather than a rich progressive murderer.
