Probably nothing. There are a lot of cool monsters and stories another Legendary Godzilla movie could utilize -- all-new stuff is also an option -- but KotM was the sink-or-swim trial and it kind of sucked and didn't perform that well. I have a feeling Godzilla vs. King Kong will be worse.

There's a diagram showing them side by side. Godzilla dwarfs Kong in size, but kongs arms are the thickness of Gozilla's fucking legs. Even setting aside Godzilla's stumpy little arms, like real gorillas, Kong has retard-tier upper body strength.
In the movie they'll have to get creative with how Kong could even try to stand up to Godzilla when he should be curb stomped. But if you go by the size scales they're using, realistically there's no reason Kong wouldn't be able to grab hold of one of Godzilla's limbs and literally rip it entirely off. People are gawking at the height and size difference between them, but not paying attention to the musculature. Godzilla is basically just huge and fat, this incarnation of Kong is a smaller ball of muscle.

I really STRONGLY hope if the rights are released and Toho starts their own G-Cinematic universe that they actually try and create new plots and villains like they were originally going to do in the heisei era but jumped back to the classics when Biollante under preformed tragically.
