We've seen the 4 main cast members. Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers (who was in Predator one of the greatest movies ever made, he played Dillon, the son of a bitch in the most testosterone fueled handshake in film history), Gina Carano, and Giancarlo Esposito (played Gus on Breaking Bad). I tried it, I didn't like it nearly as much as Dark. Dark Side Sith Warrior had me getting really excited when You turn Jaesa to the Dark Side and have her kill her own Jedi Master
It's what I wanted when I first played SI dark side in beta and I got excited about turning a Jedi Padawan to the dark side, but the way they did it in that story was weak. have her look at a holocron that "corrupts" her, and she yammers about the light side forever and you just want to throw her out an airlock.
Jaesa on the other hand, really turns, and it changes her fundamentally. It was satisfying.

See, I got all hyped up about IA story, and it was alright, but it didn't have as much impact for me as the Sith Warrior storyline, especially when you could get some cool masks that changed your voice all robotic It just added that extra edge. When I'd run flashpoints with my friends that had dialogue, we all loved it when I won the conversation check because my character with his voice mods sounded so menacing and cool, taking the most "lawful evil" choices possible and choking the shit out of people. IA had the more interesting and plausible choices but .. I dunno, ending wasn't as satisfying. I had 2 IA playthroughs

early access these days is the norm for many studios for a number of reasons, however EA being incompetent as usual released an early access game at full price, with lootbox mechanics, and did an absolutely terrible job at marketing this being the smug idiots they are (and then their stock value crashed horribly as punishment).
the game is now available at 5€ on the origin store, and after 2 more years of development i can say the game is worth every cent i paid for it, i bought it a month ago and is pretty enjoyable even though there are still some questionable game design choices. anyway the devs are doing a good job of keeping this alive. i thought they'd abandon it 6 months after launch considering all the drama and yet they're still pumping in new stuff.

because mods keep games alive far beyond their natural death so instead of buying the sequel you keep playing the old one with mods.
arma 3 is now 6 and a half years old and its still one of the most played games on steam thanks to mods (and platform updates).
it's just different business models and EA will never allow it otherwise they cant milk their userbase every 2-3 years with a new full-price title.
