Yes it ruined the whole trajectory of the show and one could tell Christopher Evan Welch was making a character that was going to finally blow up his career. Absolute travesty that he passed so young.
I think I enjoyed last season but I can barely remember anything about it.
mike judge knew evan welch was only going to be able to film one season and his death was planned from before filming began.
This. I didnt even know I watched it. I went to finally catch up and realized i had seen the episode. It was so bland
The show lost its touch halfway through s2, the writers kept trying to create new bullshit scenarios to hinder the protagonists. The worst examples are when one the guys tripped over a wire and his flash drive fell out and when Russ accidentally deleted everything on the laptop. The writers put themselves into a corner, show peaked at the jerking off equation
Doesn't change that he was hired to be a character that was planned to be critical for the whole run of the show. Judge adapted sure, but it wasn't the same.

Dropped it last season I think, it just focuses too much on the comedic aspect of the show and because of that there is no pay-off in terms of their achievements, because everything is just a joke
All 5 seasons are based as fuck, not a single bad episode.
I laugh at all coasties cause they can't drive, imagine living your whole life without the freedom to drive somewhere kek
Gavin and Ron LaFlamme are the only good characters
peter gregory was originally written to be more like his replacement. since he was only going to be around a season he was rewritten to be far more eccentric/benevolent so he would be missed.
