Nazi milsurp was probably pretty cheap

>Serling's time in Leyte shaped his writing and political views for the rest of his life. He saw death every day while in the Philippines, at the hands of his enemies and his allies, and through freak accidents such as that which killed another Jewish private, Melvin Levy. Levy was delivering a comic monologue for the platoon as they rested under a palm tree when a food crate was dropped from a plane above, decapitating him.

Rod Serling's a hack. Watch 80s Twilight Zone, it's the ultimate pleb filter.

>wite bois made this face even in the 50s

episode
>there are no aliens! you were wrong for distrusting your neighbor!
next episode
>aliens are real! you need to be more suspicious of people!

>what is context?

Bullshit the most cliche Twilight Zone episodes are the ones where death is disguised as something, or just a force to be dealt with
That or as Seinfeld summed it up
>I've woken up to a reality where everything seems different but I am the same

...in germany in 1941

Because sadly we live in a reality where both messages apply. Being so paranoid that you randomly turn on your neighbors at the mere hint of a problem is wrong, but blindly trusting anybody who claims they can cure all of the world's issues is also foolish

The WW2 ones I remember dealt with Pacific front
IF it involves Nazi Germany Hitler is a ghost or something

Which ones involved Nazi Germany? like 2?

sounds like an overly triggered incel made this thread

Attached: whinypol2.png (976x768, 345K)

Zero. The only time the Nazis did anything was an episode involving a fucking U Boat

Your boogeyman isn't here. It's a legitimate question.

Homophobia was prevalent at the time

Attached: gay trannynazi.jpg (750x1073, 190K)

how many episodes involved nazi germany?

Why are 100% of OPs certified faggots?

what question? I can't think of a single episode that has nazi's in it.

kek

>he had to investigate further
sounds like a fag

because serling was an sjw jew

The only episode of the original Twilight Zone that involved Nazi Germany was Judgement Night as far as I know was and even that was about a submarine.

This is of a series of over 150 episodes. Not sure what OP watched. Perhaps he watched the series...In the Twilight Zone

o? which eps demonized the poor nazis? I'd like to watch them and see what you mean.

>Levy was delivering a comic monologue for the platoon as they rested under a palm tree when a food crate was dropped from a plane above, decapitating him.

Thats pretty funny in a macabre sort of way.

Five episodes took place during WW2
Three deal with the Pacific theater
One deals with Italy and North Africa
And the last is about a ship targeted by a U boat
Sterling did not care about the Euro front, because he was in the Pacific and Nukes were right up the shows alley

>it's a "incel makes something up just so it can complain about it" thread

Attached: 1457054788902.jpg (1550x1600, 443K)

I see, so OP was full of shit. Thanks

Did anybody else think his name was Serling

this

Want to know how I know you haven't actually watched the original Twilight Zone OP?

That is not an episode dealing with WW2 or Nazi Germany
Yes there are episodes taking place after WW2 featuring Nazis or people emulating them

>not set in nazi germany
>not set during ww2
>is about neo-nazi's

not very smart are ya?

pig people were nazis also

Attached: twilightzone eye of the beholder.jpg (400x299, 18K)

True Nazi related episodes
>Judgment Night
>Deaths-Head Revisited
>He’s Alive
>that one scene in No Time Like the Past with Hitler
nothing else off the top of my head

it was a different time

The episode is so fucking funny too because of how /pol/ is
>Is a shitty sperg with no popularity
>Best friend is actually Jewish
>Needs coaching from ghost Hitler to do anything

Not many dealt with Nazis but most were about prejudice or bigotry just wrapped up with sci fi elements.

I wish Yea Forums existed back when twilight zone was airing. Imagine the threads.

Totalitarians really. His evil regimes always walked a line that made them plausibly commie nazis

No those are just the ones most often remembered besides the ones with le ebin twist
Nobody remembers the one where this old man played with neighborhood kids, could transform into anything, was close friends with a little girl, and eventually turns out to be a child too that was martian.

There was one where the nazi went back to visit the concentration camp or whatever, I think ghosts were fucking with him

Most? No. Plenty were but most really weren’t.

>Its another death in disguise episode
How many times can they use the same actors

You should watch the episodes closer. They're all about nazis because every tv show has subtext alluding to politics.

Death's Hand Revisited, but that was more of an episode advocating for keeping the camps up for the historical record.

I like the end where the hitler shadow lingers, to infest anonymous boards in the future

I remember that one that’s The Fugitive. The girl had a bum leg too.

The only episode canonically set in Nazi Germany is when the genie turns the guy into Hitler. Unrelated but Two may have been set in the USSR.

No there really are episodes that don't have to do with anything political. Sterling did have political beliefs, but they were seriously more aligned with JFK style politics than anything comparable to SJW stuff today

50s America was very tsundere for nazis, until Malcolm X and Rockwell got murdered

The Twilight Zone was, imo, boring. I watched an episode where three astronauts land on what they think is an uncharted planet, and one kills the other two because they have limited supplies. It turns out they just crashed on Earth and never left. What a tweest.

I was being too broad by saying nobody remembers. What I meant is that some episodes of the Twilight Zone had a big impact on culture, and plenty of others did not. People often get the wrong impression of the show because only a tiny fraction of episodes are usually discussed

Serling co-wrote Planet Of The Apes

probably so they could reuse the set pieces and costumes.

It wouldn't be boring if it was literally the only show of its kind. Every other show at the time was incredibly formulaic, and would not touch anything interesting with a ten foot pole. Twilight Zone was a sci fi story idea a week that are good enough conceptually to work almost forever

No I know exactly what you mean and your point is spot on. Anybody who’s watched the whole series and is being honest about it knows how broad the subject matter and plots could get.

>keeping the camps up for the historical record.
>so we can beat everybody over the head with it for the next 80 years

When that episode aired, it was like twenty years ago.

see

What were your fav episodes? I really liked the one about the civil war soldiers marching into heaven or something

One I just remembered that I enjoyed is when the family is waiting for the rich old man to die so they can have his money and he has his brain put into a robot after death so he can nag them. I thought that one was funny.

i only saw one or two episodes. i think the one involved a guy alone with a crashed plane and the other involved a fence and the guy at the end said "no that was heck back there"

Serling was a jew

And a dwarf (5'4")

BRING. ME. MY. HOT. CHOCOLATE.

Figures

try 1961
the camps opened up about 80 years ago
>fucking zoomers

The camps literally are just inert physical locations. How people respond to them is up to themselves, but if something is said to be important then the record of that event should be preserved. This is only objectionable because you are looking for something to object to

Why are racists so fucking triggered by everything?

I mean you're at the point of lying about Twilight Zone

we could reopen them and trick jews to attending

>if you're bored of hearing about ww2 and hitler you're OBVIOUSLY just a jew hater
shut the fuck up you baby, a science fiction series needs to have science and/or fiction, preferably both, and a broader scope than "what if adolf ___________"

>Serling was born on December 25, 1924, in Syracuse, New York, to a Jewish family
There's your answer.

Hitler is in two episodes out of 150.

A Stop at Willoughby
A Passage for Trumpet
A Game of Pool
The Encounter
Walking Distance
Death Ship
The Old Man in the Cave
The Dummy

I could go for way too long but there’s a few.

>Imagine NOT being a racist in current year (+4) on 4Channel (formerly Yea Forums)
Yikes.
Just admit you are a redditor with a billion reddit points

Twilight Zone was okay but Black mirror was much better

Obsolete Man always at the top. Talky Tina, the ventriloquist one, and long distant call are some powerful scary ones. The bomb shelter one where the neighbors turn on each other and monsters on maple are good social commentary ones. Last stop at willoughby just kind of haunts me. Finally What's in the box just makes me sad.

Ok lets all be real though.

The Outer Limits > The Twilight Zone

Go watch them both and tell me that TOL isn't a much more enjoyable show to watch that holds up a lot better too.

Real life kino.

I have the feeling they might be slightly on their guard when dealing with that

The movie where it was reviled that the bad side actually won WW2, but it would take 100 years before it was common knowledge?

black mirror wouldn't be possible without twilight zone and bm is a massive rollercoaster of quality that is slowly trending lower and lower

You may have a short attention span.

Yea Forums has universally loved the Twilight Zone.

It's pretty obvious who is a faggot 8 channel orbiter tourist up in here and who isn't. Go talk shit about Star Wars, or capeshit, or something that is actually bad. Leave the Twilight Zone alone, you massive tasteless faggots. Nobody likes a queer with a victim complex.

Attached: 1565590683000.jpg (626x478, 67K)

It isn't and it can't be. It choose one part of what the Twilight Zone did, social commentary, to focus on. That was never the entirety of the Twilight Zone, but that is what Black Mirror is. And despite being not the point of the series or the vast majority of episodes, the Twilight Zone's social commentary was and is hugely relevant. It made an impact. Black Mirror never ever reaches the same level of impact, and even then it still loses to the Twilight Zone because the Twilight Zone still told plenty of interesting sci fi stories independent of social commentary. Black mirror loses in every way

>Twilight Zone
>Seinfeld
This literally happened.

youtube.com/watch?v=f0wmm5R2pa4

Hoppler did nothing wrong
youtube.com/watch?v=8UY9CDnnHL4

Outer Limits is good but the quality levels of the episodes is so schizophrenic. Also one thing interesting I noticed, atleast about the 90s run of Outer Limits, is the amount of stories that have to do with sex.

No they weren't

Okay, "a very sizeable portion." Stop being autistic.

You're a faggot that hates everything. Cry more about the Jews, nigger

No, not many episodes at all. Stop being an autistic /pol/fag.

>hates everything
i wish. i'm a slave to the ladies

What's the deal with Twilight Zone and constant decapitations?
