CalArts
Women
Zoomers
Basically this.
Youtube.
Everything stopped being dope around 2005-2006
By 2008 all was dead
jews, liberals, tumblr, social justice, uncreative ideas and shit artstyles
Basically this
WTF???? They have Steven Universe playing? That's precious time that's being wasted, when they should be playing Teen Titans Go, the best cartoon currently airing on that network
Kids don’t watch tv anymore
nothing
lel
jews?
Fake and gay
Wtf does this even mean? I get what it means, but explain, why the influx of calaet graduates? And why all the same style?
Old Cartoon Network looked like it would be fun as hell to work at.
oh man... youtube.com
I think a lot of it has to do with the industry changes. is both right and wrong at the same time
the calarts style meme is accurate in that it's an obvious style that a ton of shows are copying, but it's also wrong in that just calling it calarts isn't entirely accurate. a big part of where this came from is the internet, but also because the animation industry is insanely incestuous in its relationships and collusion
there's a lot of repeating names when you look behind the curtain at a lot of these shows
of course, CN is in a weird place right now. they just got bought out and the people currently running it aren't going to be as big of a spendthrift as the people who ran it before
These.
its became CNN
It hurts!!!
i loved these, it made cn look like a fun place to work in.
also kids love seeing their favourite characters come to life and interact even if they are from different shows
Oh how far we've fallen
juden
>cartoons are more expensive than ever
>nepotism and circlejerk between creators
goddamnit

the jews
Rebecca Sugar***
Just be thankful Based Danny has permanent veto on an EEnE reboot and has no interest in bringing it back.
(((nepotism)))
Let's say it's an alternate reality, and (You) have been tasked with two responsibilities for the following shows - extending one of them for another full season and erasing one from history like it never aired
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends
Ed Edd N' Eddy
Grim Adventures of Billy and Mandy
Codename: Kids Next Door
Dexter's Laboratory
Johnny Bravo
What do?
>ruins your Cartoon Network
Nothin personal, kid
Billy and Mandy new season, erase kids next door
Holy shit you can see the quality crash in 2007
It was those fucking dumb boomers that ruined everything. They could have just asked the younger officers what the image meant
You mean 2004 right? There were a couple of gems in the 04-07 lineup but most of it was shit.
I remember everything from 92-04 but I don’t remember the moxy show?
I wouldn't exactly call a decline a crash but it's obvious that 2007 was the point of failure
Um where the fuck is Martin Mystery????
billy and mandy new season, erase foster's
Question 2:
Old Dexter vs New Dexter?
Old Johnny Bravo vs New Bravo?
>I take old dexter, new bravo
Old Dexter and S2/S3 Johnny
2004 - 06 still had good shit. Only 2 shows where bad. Fact.
imagine how much different the world will be without grim & evil ever happening
Find a flaw
...i-impossible
LIVIN HERE IN JERSEY
No Garfield and Friends.
Otherwise it's perfect.
I want to go back.
Is this a joke? Why do they keep showing teen titans go?
>zoids

Well?
niggas...
youtube.com
YOU DIG GIANT ROBOTS
No, it would only be shit.
it was a product of it's time. If it was faithful it would be bashed by sjws for being too creepy and violent for kids.
2007? The year the iPhone was released? The year the Big Bang Theory first aired? I simply do not believe in coincidences.
Because it’s pretty much the “SpongeBob” To Cartoon Network. And you know what that memes they now have their “SpongeBob standard“
Not CN related, but I loved watching this group of shows. HBO use to have some odd / decent cartoons way back in the day.
You can literally pinpoint exactly when CN died.
I can't even watch that it hurts too bad
Zoomer nostalgia for LATE 2000s-early 2010s CN stuff like Adventure time is now in full bloom on the internet.
youtube.com
If you consciously remember 1998-2004 CN, then you're now a grandpa by internet standards.
I'm a zoomer and I'm just as nostalgic for Ed, Edd n Eddy and Dexter as well as early Adventure Time.
Fried Dynamite first aired in 2007 too.
this
Flapjack was good take that away and it's accurate
They grew up
>I'm a zoomer and I'm just as nostalgic for Ed, Edd n Eddy and Dexter
This. These retarded millennials don't understand that those shows were still playing when we were in elementary school
Truth is, the formula that applies to most people is the years were you were ages 5-10 were "the best". Everything before you were 5 is outdated/overrated, and everything after you were 10 is shit.
35 year old xennials who grew up with Batman the animated series and Xmen thought the likes of Pokemon and Yugioh were terrible.
While 25 year old millennials remember Pokemon and Yugioh fondly and thought the likes of Johnny test and icarly were terrible.
But then 15 year old zoomers remember Johnny test and icarly fondly and think the likes of Fortnite animated and Mighty magiswords are terrible.
While 5 year old alphoomers think Fortnite animated and Mighty magiswords are great, and will be praising them 10 years from now.
etc. etc.
Dexter ended in 2003 when the oldest zoomer was only 6. Ed edd n eddy declined with the school seasons (2005) when the oldest zoomers were only 8.
Maybe older zoomers got the scraps, but they didn't fully experience the prime.
Nah it's when you were 10-15
The school episodes were great, especially the first one that transitions summer to fall.
We got reruns of the golden years and the dying light of the late 2000's, but hopped off before it went completely tits up
I didn't have cable in my country and borrowed the DVDs from my local library, then was basically on the internet everyday from 2011, so streamed Adventure Time.
CN Real
>Camp Lazlo
>Krypto
>Ed Edd Eddy
>Fosters
>Totally Spies
>OG Ben 10
Everything else is absolute shit tier. People are also forgetting the kino of Kid's WB.
I hated the Superhero Squad show so fucking much. It played all the time and had such an annoying theme song. Basically was a warning of the incoming MCU.
id say taht when the smart phone came out it all went downhill but it was stil in a treansitionary period so the old was still around. but by 2011/2012 it was all changed. i rememebr in 2012 my mom had a smartphone and iunno the innocence was lost
You're wrong. And to assume there isn't an objective way in which you can asses the worth of something as simple as a cartoon is laughable. Surely, you are of the small mind.
Fpbp, also white men stopped running things. Look at old WB animation through the 90s. And Nick. White men in control.
But I was under the impression that TTGO was never really that popular amongst any of the audiences, though clearly I have to be wrong.
This
Nope, everything ended in 2005-2006, stop revising history and saying "it ended in 2012" zoomers.
if you think we didn't see reruns of all the best dexter/powerpuffgirl/ed ed n eddy episodes ur tripping.
>cartoons when I was kid: good
>cartoons when I not kid: bad
i think a lot of cartoons from before i was born are good, but i think the crap on tv now is mostly awful.
>take a bunch of creative misfits with unpredictable ideas and freaky settings and characters
>golden era of cartoons
>stick to a corporate formula of success and hire only predictable people that think and even look exactly the same
>current cartoons
Thats it,executives unwilling to take risks are what ruins everything good
When the Bad Guys are out,
All you have to do is Shout Now
Who’s gonna Hero Up!
Well they may not get along
But they’re always fighting strong,
Now Who’s gonna Hero Up!
Who’ll save the day
The Super Hero Squad
They’ll Hero Up Again!
Super Hero Squad (Hero Up) (2x)
Wolverine and Hulk are fierce
Doctor Doom ends up in Tears
When Iron Man joins the fight
Falcon Searches from the sky
Silver Surfer flies aside
Thor’s Hammer has Thunder’s Might
Who’ll save the day
The Super Hero Squad
They’ll Hero Up Again
Super Hero Squad (Hero Up) (3x)
Super Hero Squad!
Even a zoomer like me agrees
It's a correct observation.
>you when you were a kid: faggot
>you when you are not a kid : faggot
The founder of CN and president of the 90s era was a woman.
Anyone else remember this?
youtu.be
Early AT, Flapjack and Regular Show were good and at the very least kept CN from becoming a Nick and Disney Channel clone with live action shit because they were really popular
I HATE THOSE SQUADIES!
No Teen Titans Go
well that's certainly not going to be stuck in my head all day
>Everyone hypes for Teen Titans season 6 rumors
>This will be the final result
youtu.be
Wooow fuck you guys.
Only of it isn't touched by CN, goes directly to Adult Swim with darker themes and John Dilworth is still directing it.
Otherwise, fuck no.
TT died when Beast Boy ran away from Terra after she said she doesn't know him. There is no Go.
I'm pretty neutral on TTG as a show but all the salt from you Titansfags makes it the greatest show of all time.
Not gonna lie I enjoyed Chowder and Flapjack.
mandy ruined a generation of women
damn, yeah
They were okay enough but I knew the golden age was over then and in retrospect they were definitely the dry run for pretty much all the cancer that followed and just got worse and worse as time went on.
I was never upset over TTG existing at all, I actually liked it for a moment then got bored so your canned response doesn't really apply. But it looks like shit.
>captain planet
Flapjack is definitely underrated, one of CN's best shows. Chowder was just alright.
Krypto was fucking retarded
Camp Lazlo was awful. It was like they sucked all the fun out of Rocko
>chowder was bad
>ben 10 was bad
>flapjack was bad
>generator rex was bad
>batb was bad
>tcw was bad
>regular show was bad
Imagine having tastes this shitty
Extended season of Grim. Erase KND. That shit was lame even as a kid
Camp Lazlo was underrated.
yeah, changed the channel everytime knd came on
I wish I could forget Johnny Test existing.
This was the best CN show
what i meant to say is ure right 2006 is where its ended but 2012 the transition was fully done, 2007-2011 it was slwoly changing
aren't they rebooting it too?
made me wanna be a teen/senior in HS
Don't mind me just being the best intro theme
youtu.be
wow that brings back some memories
HERE WE ARE

I never watched the show, but it is one of my favorite themes
Please read this post before your start spouting women or sociopolitical reasons.
If anyone here has any grasp of current design trends, be it traditional art or digital, this have shifted towards simple, easy designs. Designers now see taught that "basic" is minimal and modern. It also requires low skill, can be done fast. Which means, if I'm a studio I can have a show done cheaply and quickly.
Considering at&t is going to start cutting spending for Turner soon, if they haven't already, look out for even simpler shows coming out, with bare bones production quality. If the market (viewers) really push back (which I doubt they will because we've been conditioned that basic=modern) then things may start to get better.

Your best friend, Plank.
youtube.com
what was good about around 2004 was that you not only had looney tunes from 1940-present, you had 90s cartoons like johny brave and dexters lab, you also had modern anime and shows like beyblade and beast wars AND on top of all that u had modern bugs bunny like duck dodgers
>which I doubt they will because we've been conditioned that basic=modern
I blame smart phones for this. It's no coincidence before smart phones websites were flashy, but after they were made with a basic design for phone browsers
you essentially had cartoons from every era. where as now u turn on tv its JUST modern shit as showed
fuck, this brings me back
peak crinj
Because everything else is made for legbeards and manchildren, like SU and it makes more sense to play a cartoon that kids will watch who are not always on the internet unlike those people. Everyone can just stream the other shit basically
What about these?

The fact that they even attempted this really rustles my jimmies, why can't we get any good western action cartoons anymore?
I feel like Young Justice was the last time it was even attempted.
why is nobody including Adventure Time on the sucky side. That show sucks.
Best Scooby Doo theme
>tfw still want to work with Toonami's gang one day even to just do voice overs
>tfw they'll probably get cut in the coming years
Hard to believe it's been nearly 25 years since it first premiered.
Why doesn't his studio get hired by Cartoon Network (or any other network for that matter) anymore?
>why can't we get any good western action cartoons anymore?
Because of anime. It's way easier and cheaper to buy the rights to an anime, dub it, than to create something from scratch. But as a kid I always preferred western actions over anime like Teen Titans, or Avatar
Teen Titans Go! is legitimately the best show CN has had in years
>back when MacFarlane shows only took up a half hour of adult swim's block
>back when Toonami was a nightly thing during the week as well as on Saturdays
>back when the cartoons actually went on until 10:30 pm est instead of ending at 8 pm est
Take me back man, this was peak television right here.
>tfw Moltar and Zorak are dead irl
Some day I'd like to set up a stream based around this.
Not that hard when it's one of the only shows that CN actually airs
Flapjack was the last CN show I genuinely enjoyed, something about it just felt compared to everything else coming out at the time.
When Cartoon Network moved Toonami to the weekends and replaced it with Miguzi (remember that shit) they had an interesting affair with french animation studios making stuff like Code Lyoko and Totally Spies. I always wondered why they never bought the rights to air Martin Mystery as well?
Incel
>Just when I though the old times are dead, they bring him back to life just to kill him again
There's one called Toonami Aftermath that does something similar and even has old commercials and bumpers (though they're mostly about old toonami and adult swim shows).
They've even got a Roku app now too and a few other channels, it's pretty comfy.
fuuuuuuuck
>tfw they even fucked up Boomerang a few years back and ruined a 15 year track record of comfy network programming and bumps
Thanks Christina Miller, it was really necessary to destroy the whole point of that network and just make it into CN 2.0's chopping block.
Has something else shitty happened? I haven't checked in years
2007 was the worst year ever
Enough of the CalArts meme shit, this is the real answer:
1. TV viewership is declining overall which means media companies are freaking out because the corporate model of upward growth forever isn't panning out. Therefore channels are getting gobbled up or consolidated and low-effort shit like dubs and reality shows are taking over the landscape. Animation is one of the most expensive forms of entertainment which explains why something as basic and cheap as Johnny Test exists.
2. Clueless executives that are brought in after a channel has already established itself in order to run it into the ground. It's the Peter principle in action. I don't know what idiot decided ignoring 20+ years of animation already made in favor of Teen Titans Go for 18 hours a day was a good idea but it's the standard now.
3. Cancelling good shows and making bad ones last forever. RIP Robotomy.
So as you can see, a downturn in viewership thanks to the internet creates a feedback loop where the channel gets worse and less viewed due to cost-cutting measures. I don't know what the future of animation will hold but it sure as hell won't be on TV.
I remember most of that shit not really taking off until 2008 or 2009 to be quite honest, might just be slight nostalgia from that year being my transition from middle to high school though.
And it's not, but they have nothing else. The show has many "meta" episodes in fact, that poke fun at the viewers for shitting on the it, most of the time mocking the old show and the people that want it back
This was my first fap but to be fair I thought that they kissed to get stuck together. I fapped like crazy every time Action Hank came on screen until my stepfather walked in on me in the middle of fapping to him and then I ejaculated for the first time while looking directly into my stepfather's eyes. I couldn't watch TV by myself after that until I was 17, so I missed a lot of the Golden Age of Cartoon Network. Nowadays if he comes into my room while I'm fapping he doesn't bat an eye.
It's weird how the internet is simultaneously one of the best and worst things humanity has ever invented, sometimes I wish we could go back to the wild west internet days of the 90's and early 2000's.
That's pretty nice. At around this period of time I remember trying to watch TV late at night and a lot of channels were just solid infomercials from 1 or 2 til the morning.
I feel bad for liking that teenage drama island show
Think of 2007 like the Tunguska Event in slow motion
The meteorite (2007) was streaking towards the ground but burnt up at the last moment. Several seconds later the shockwave hit the ground, creating a catastrophic explosion (2008-2012)
CN real but mainly just kids watching yt more than cartoons so networks only airing what gets the best ratings and not wanting to take risks with new shows.
Based along with Kappa Mikey but they were nicktoons network
The scooby doo movies leading into Tom and Jerry was so fucking great.
I miss the old days but the viruses and slow speeds were a nuisance, and there's nothing stopping you from operating a website like it's 1999. So it's just different. Block social media in your hosts file and it can be pretty close.
is all this cartoon network shit a stealth marketing attempt, or is everyone actually reminiscing about this crap.
>a stealth marketing attempt
Obviously not when everybody hates the new shit
I genuinely miss it, there's nothing worth watching on the network now.
Feels weird remembering when I didn't think any of the good times I had with the network would change, makes me wish I had recorded some of this stuff on VHS tapes like old Toonami broadcasts (really saddens me knowing the networks used to just throw out their master copies of these broadcasts and promos/bumps).
First, change in president. Craziest thing is, KINO 90's CN was run by a Jewish Woman, Betty Cohen was in charge from 90 to 2001.
Then in 2004 the logo changed and CN started picking up shows from the recently dead Kids WB. These shows were trash.
Then to try staying fresh and hip with the internet, they introduced Live Action shows.
Then they nuked Toonami.
Then tried to pad more with shitty canadian cartoons.
Then in 2010, everything got fucked.
They nuked ALL of the shows and their reruns.
They started buying all these fresh face WOKE older millenials CalArts shows: Adventure Time, Gumball, Steven Universe ect.
And because millienials are faggots, when the decade fell to SJW in 2014, they all started injecting their shows will literal faggotry.
And because millienals are spoiled, lazy, entitled, and are used to participation awards, their shows are extremely cheaply made, low effort artistically with simple story board art designs with noodle arms, ZERO muscle or anatomy study, and their scripts are just boring slice of lifes and sitcoms.
So TL;DR.
-Fired Betty Cohen; the OG of the Golden Age, barely into the new decade.
-Ran out of good ideas/talent and tried to pad it with Late shitty Kids WB shows.
-Tried LIVE ACTION ON A CARTOON NETWORK.
-Ran out of ideas/talent again and tried to pad it with shitty Canadian cartoons.
-Nuked Toonami.
-NUKED EVERYTHING.
-Hired shitty, no effort, bad writing older CalArts Millenials.
-Millenials get influenced by SJW movement starting 2014, and proceed to inject faggotry into all shows.
And here we are.
Well stated, just add in the ATHF bomb scare in 2007 and it's golden.
I kept it to just Cartoon Network.
Adult Swim is a whole fucking different story.
This will never stop being hilarious, fucking boomers didn't even notice until several hours in when one of Boston's mayor's young staffers recognized the characters.
Bravo Boston.
Erase Foster’s for normalizing Flash cartoons and extend nothing because every other show was in a bad place besides Edd Ed n Eddy and it ended perfectly
>Family Guy 11pm
Staying up to secretly watch that show back when it was still relatively unknown was like crack
fpbp
jesus christ this webm is pure soul
shit man, this is too much to bear
dumbass zoomers starting only watching cartoons with screeching, screaming voice acting and nonsensical plots. So it's all CN started producing.
The absolute state of CN
The high-energy ramp up at the end of it gets me every time. Talk about a stacked roster of amazing shows.
wtf I have the only correct answer ITT and none of you dips replied "this"
Youtube didn’t ruin CN. Youtube ruined the collective conscious’ attention span. is the only right answer, you retard
There are a lot of bumps on yt if that's anything. I like to watch them from time to time to ramenesque
>Hooh-hah-huh!
>Hey there, pretty lady.
It resulted in a new network boss though who ruined things further.
Was Johnny one of us?
>shows that could not be made today
I think the current paradigm on animation, it's that whenever something it's animated it's meant to be for children, there is no real care into making an artist's vision, but a committee driven product designed to be efficient, and statistically conducted, more recently, poisoned with political correctness.
the direct result of all of this, is the decay of the old masters techniques and the loss of beauty and discipline of animation.
in 10 years from now they will look at Tom&Jerry's cartoons from the 50s and comment on how unnecessary and hard it was to make animation back then, only to get back at their automated software and crank more uninspired and mediocre trash
I mean johnny had a pretty misguided conception of how relationships work, he was very out of touch. but man he really tried to be the best at his game, he was a real life loser, no job, no girlfriend, living with her mum, his circle of friend reduced to neighbors and family, more muscle than brain, taking the wrong turns, but always with good intentions, too dumb to crumble into depression, too innocent to be a bad person.
Man, I would hang with johnny every day. he would be an absolute top bloke
He actually had confidence, so no.
>dope
...
He thought just because he had an attractive physique women would be lining up to fuck him, in spite of him having shit-tier social skills and charisma. In other words he's basically /fit/ personified.
>skips leg day
>late 20s socially awkward NEET
>lives with his Mom
Yep.
Fpbp
Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends is very, very fucking bad, much worse than i ever remembered
it's grating and annoying as fuck and it's basically just "remember this character's gimmick?": the show
out of the really zoomer shows, sonic boom is something that i can appreciate if not for anything else than the madman writers, and i also like gumball based on solely what i've seen in youtube snippets
>liking G4tv
this, Foster's is basically the best example of a show that did not hold up in retrospect.
Bullshit, Flapjack was on during SJW era and that arguably went even more batshit scary, nobody whined about it
They really do ruin everything they touch
>that was widely considered the downfall shit era in Youtube rants
I guess this was written by "not like others sheep" zoomer
Fpbp
I never understood the like or acclaim it got, I thought it was bottom of the barrel then too. Shit art style, shit plot and an unlikable asshole main character.
>21
>vividly and fondly remember dexters lab, samurai jack, and teen titans etc (a lot due to reruns but vividly remember excitedly watching new episodes of teen titans)
>also nostalgic for billy and mandy, chowder, flapjack, and early adventure time and regular show

thats weird, its the same for me.
13 Ghosts
Going to bed watching Family Guy into Futurama and sometimes staying up for the animeblock to see Cowboy Bebop pretty much defined my adolescent school nights.
knd, i remember that being the most boring show ever
>Find a flaw
by Scooby Movies, do they mean the live action ones? If so that's a flaw
>2008-2010
>SJW era

In 15 years there will be nostalgia posts about those youtube animations
kids next door was comfy as fuck and cool as fuck fuck you
Same.
I'm getting goosebumps
What's really sad? Animators like that never really passed on the secrets. The tricks of the trade. Part of the reason why animators suck, is because the teachers at CalArts are all soulless post-modernists. So the idea of putting effort into things is bad, uncool and possibly even patriarchal. CalArts shows are simplistic, because the creators cannot actually draw nor animate. Imagine entire cartoon companies just being ran by "ideas guys" banking off cheap korean animation, and that's the state of the cartoon industry.
It was awful. Very fucking boring.
i want to fug dat blonde grill so fkn much aaaaaaaaaaaaa
this
They went woke. I think like 99% of their cartoons are about strong independent women fighting the patriarchy.
Boys get literally zero cool action shows. The only way a show has a male protagonist is if they are idiots who constantly need to be helped or rescued by a marie sue female character.
It's Nu-Star Wars all over again
It actually returned for like 1 episode to tell kids about how dangerous drumpf is and how everybody who votes for him is a nazi.
We’re still in the SJW era. And knowing our luck will still be in it for the next five years or so
Yeah, I can see how this could happen.
I fap to these videos like you wouldn't believe.
Why are people acting like this is a bad thing? No one on this board should still be watching children's cartoons, you should all be happy that you were fortunate enough to grow up in a time when CN was still good.
Extend billy and mandy
Erase Fosters
Something about Billy and Mandy had me laughing at some of the stuff.
god that fucking fosters intro brings back so much. I remember those intro noises slowly gaining tempo with the song so well. I feel like that ranks among the best intros for a cartoon of all time. It's a meme buzzword but it really did have a lot of soul. Especially the first few seconds.
Thanks for sharing this man.
Adventure Time & Regular Show are solid shows that would have held up even if they were airing next to PPG & Dexter's Lab. Your rant about how they're 'cheap' and 'simple' is specious; the PPG didn't even have hands for christ sake. Pure frothing gibberish.

regular show was great for 2 seasons then it started a long decline
I was born in 1991 and I remember when my house got cartoon network I caught the tail end of the era before mine, which was really weird but good shit. There was cow and chicken, I am weasel, space ghost coast to coast, and freakazoid.
Almost went here. Fucking waste of money and nothing but liberal propaganda.
Ended up at CSUN studying computer animation/Visual Effects. Doing cozy Post-Production work now. Looking back I really got lucky for not falling for this meme school.
I watched it for Frankie
Didn't they used to show Yu-Gi-Oh GX as well?
Your calendar's week ends with Sabbath instead of Sunday - into the oven you go, kike!
Maybe grow up and stop watching a channel L I T E R A L L Y called CARTOON Network as an adult. Giant cringe.
I'm surprised that nobody has posted this yet.
From the Animator's survival kit
Fuck me, it doesn’t really hit home how garbage things are until you compare. The amazing world of gumball is the only good show these days
>be Yea Forums

I always enjoyed the fake reboot stuff from CN.
I just spent 3MB of data opening this useless image

god i remember coming home from school just in time to watch this when that chick that hangs out fishing on a pier is the channel host for the afternoon
I actually remember exactly what he's talking about and was just thinking about it when I saw the picture; I'm surprised someone brought it up.
I was so fucking grossed out.
>everything went to shit as soon as a nigger got to be president
really makes you think
They literally fucked up Samurai Jack and Harvey Birdman two of the easiest homeruns anyone could make I'm glad they've been bought out and hopefully the out of touch boomers will get kicked to the kerb
The smug expression of this shit makes it more infuriating
Dumb zoomer
>Youtube rants
You mean those shitty webcam videos made by cringelords like BiGal2k6 and other fags?
fpbp and spbp in the same thread
CalArts students are cheap as hell to hire and they all have the same character design.
They are cheap because that school accepts literally anyone. And their style is the same because it's the easiest to draw and animate.
What were they thinking with pic related. Why announce that they have nothing?
I watched a whole day of CN a few months ago with my younger cousin. Yeah, I'm never letting my kids watch that.
It quits counting Adult Swim shows in the last half. I guess teeeeeechnically it split into its own station, but come on
How was the Birdman special any worse than the final seasons?
No dude, the Scooby Movies were the ones where they met like Don Knotts or The Harlem Globetrotters.
so TL:DR Calarts.
Why write all that bs if you came to the same conclussion as first post?
of course, i'm retarded
>/fit/
most of that board are fat manlets
I liked Flapjack.
Me too user
I remember watching Hamtaro almost every morning as a kid before school and my dad and brother would make fun of it
Network went downhill by not showing older cartoons like Flintstones anymore. Without the classics playing they no longer had filler for their off hours that could funnel viewers into a few new shows, instead they now do marathons all the time of stuff like Teen Titans Go and it becomes all the network is about. Makes it harder to even do like Steven Universe and have progression in a show since there isn’t some set time for it, so they go back to marathons.
Cartoon Network Japan commercials. Some cool original Japanese animated ones.

Your shitpost is off-topic. Take it to Yea Forums where it belongs .
It’s improving again. Support the good shows like Mao and DCSHG
And if you're an Euro?
>cartoons are more expensive than ever
but why
This guy is trying to conflate the whole decade of 2000s into one year.
Even his "2006-2008" timeframe does not cover half the things he is ranting about.
was toonami not doing well? and what about adult swim?
>Maybe grow up and stop watching a channel L I T E R A L L Y called CARTOON Network as an adult. Giant cringe.
I remember thinking that Megas XLR was CN mainliner show because it was so much more "HD" than anything else that ran at the time until Ben 10 showed up.
I didn't have Anime stuff on my CN in Eastern Europe
Teen Titans is pure shitpostingkino
Must suck being a titansfag but having fun while making the fanbase seeth and printing money on top of that must be ecstasy.
its a channel for children, you arent a child.
the only reasonable answer. Billy and Mandy seriously holds up
I was always pissed when and how often Pup Named Scooby Doo came on but I still watched it.
might be nostalgia but i remember it being really good, a recent reviewer said to keep in mind as it was made before streaming so it's not made with binge watching in mind.
might be blocked in your country (and in french) but there's an official channel on YT that has all the episodes
>putting 2006 as the year CN died
>putting Camp Lazlo on the left
I always thought 1999-2000 was the end of the "good" Cartoon Network, and 2004 if I was feeling charitable. In another 5 to 10 years though, I imagine charts will be proclaiming that 2010 was still the "good" CN.
I don't give a shit about anything else, it's hard to picture the fact that I can't go into the next room over, flick on a massive glass screen and catch the last refrain of Your Best Friend Plank before the commercials hit.
I'm sorry, but basedboy's are literally the people that are made fun of for watching Rick and Morty, what you've posted literally makes no sense
based and comfypilled. definetly do it
I HURT MYSELF TODAY
fuck off
made this an easy question when you included C:KDN. even when my tastes were less based i thought it was only decent.
I have noticed the CN skits involving kids has an usually high amount of black children in it nowadays, Back in the 2000s the only children you saw in those skits were white, diversity indeed. Brainwashing innocent white children into thinking those giggling black kids wont beat the shit out of them for fun.
>See goylet the dark goylet is just like you so play with him *rubs hands*
anyone have this with sound?
dykes
This is bigot and racist.
Hold me guys!!!
HOLD ME!
If you watched any of the shows from 2004-2007 you are literally a zoomer
Adventure Time happened.
>but they didn't fully experience the prime
yes we did, get over yourself
Its Little Wooden Boy from The Tick. Fuck Plank.
>Wanted to hate summer camp island so badly.
>Turns out to be petty comfy.
ralking about that, what happened to these cheap korean/HK/cheap asian cartoon studios that were used for old cheap but good cartoons like the ghostbusters ones?
First 3 are kino
How can something so simplistic hold so much soul
Were it not for Chowder, 2007 would have been so much fucking worse.
this is what they get for sabotaging acceleracers
I was just making a joking comparison, cool it hotshot
I hated Foster, main character was annoying, all the other characters also annoyed me. The art style was crap, it was the start of CNs shit era to me. Glad its forgotten, also hated Kids Next Door and Billy and Mandy.
