Is this show worth watching?
Is this show worth watching?
the first season is pretty good. everything after is just a steady decline.
Wasn't season 2 also well-liked?
First three seasons are mostly good, significant drop in quality during the fourth season except for one incredibly kino story arc that lasts about 4 episodes. Season 5 and 6 are terrible except for the very end of 6. Season 7 starts off good, but slowly gets worse. Season 8 is mostly bad, and season 9 is ridiculously awful.
Season 2 was basically a farmhouse soap opera for most of the season, it was fucking weird.
First season only, 2nd season is OK but like user here says, everything is just downhill after the first season.
season 9 is considered one of the best seasons
Don't the later seasons have that villain with the eyepatch most people seem to really like?
He's far better in the comics if you're a garbage incel nerd. But you're right he was a good addition but he couldn't help raise the steaming pile of shit he was put in
By literal retards
Did you know survivors of the apocalypse will be ruled over by a multicultural team lead by women and nobody will ever get raped or say a naughty or racist word? All relationships in this end of humanity event will be interracial or homosexual too.
Season 1 is weird but okay. Season 2 is trash, but people pretend it's good because it's slow trash. Seasons 3-4 are absolute kino. After that it's a slow slide down the drain, up to you when you tune out
Also she's so cute bros
He's in season 3-4. That's the only part of the show worth watching really.
This. There was a spin-off too, ‘Fear the Walking Dead’, which was basically ‘no straight white people allowed’. Both shows are trash.
Emily kino
I love her
Stop watching after Darabont leaves, everything in the show he wasn't involved in is pure fucking trash
No.
Season 2 was absolutely dreadful
Fuck off, dogfucker. Season 2 was kino
Maybe if you're a homosexual it was.
The season 2 hate bandwagon was literally started by a gay furfag who rapes dogs, though.
bros...
watch the first episode and then never look back
who is this semen demon?
AYE RICK! M’ASYSUMN MAN
it was still fine but honestly you wouldn't be missing much if you stopped after season 1
katelyn nacon
The first season was pretty good, it was directed by Frank Darabont, he used a lot of the same actors he's worked with before, "The mist" etc.
The Show got popular because of that, then AMC started taking more and more over until Frank said fuck it and quit.
After season 4ish imagine what a show written by a coorporation is like. If you thought capeshit was bad, this shit is only about selling merchandise.
The comic ended in a way the show can't adapt, so clearly not. Whatever happens now will be bullshit.
Fear >>> this
How did the comics end?
Sure, it's not bad for a while. Watch the first five seasons and quit.
Cringe. The first season is highly overrated because the pilot was good and >muh darabont.
4 > 5 > 2 > 1 > 3 > the rest
Honestly not really and I've watched the whole thing and love zombies. Better off just watching old zombie movies instead.
s1 was good
Why do people keep saying s1 was good? The show didn't become decent until after although 6,7 and 8 can just be forgotten.
The show went to shit after the Governor (who oddly enough was the best villain despite comicfags hyping up Negan for years and years).
Here's the main post-Governor problems
>they settle into one place (Alexandria?) for too long. It's better when they're on the move
>there's also the Hilltop and another place where the main characters are. It stretches the show too much
>retarded villains like those autists that live in the dump
>le guy with a pet tiger
>Negan a fucking cartoon character
>killing off most of your supporting cast, only to have most of the main cast quit the show, leaving you with no good characters
Rick dies, cut 3 or 4 decades into the future. Civilization thrives, humans outnumber walkers, atleast in the most highly populated areas. Carl marries Sophia, Maggie is a huge cunt, my nigga Eugene gets best end and is leading the rebuilding of the railroad
That pattern didn't really become too apparent until after Alexandria fell. Seasons 4 and 5 are the best parts of the show.
It didn't explain why walkers exist?
Do you have a room temp IQ? Then yes. If not avoid like the plague.
nope, and for the last 50 issues or so, more or less, they became completely irrelevant in favor of character drama
Heavy spoilers:
The commonwealth (the most successful community in the series) has people trying to revolt against Pamela, their leader. Rick manages to put an end to it and she loses her position. Her son blames Rick for the situation and kills him. Rick turns into a zombie and Carl (who didn't die nor was he ever implied to have died) is forced to put him down. The kid is thrown in jail for the rest of his life and people start to rebuild society. It then cuts to 20 years later and we see that people are now living in a wild west type society with some modern standards. Carl and Sophia (never even implied to have died either) have daughter who was about to be attacked by a zombie but Carl managed to kill it. As it turns out, zombies are nowhere near as much of a problem anymore. They're still around but they're far from human civilization and seemingly pretty hard to find. The Zombie belonged to Hershel, who is now parading some chained zombies around for entertainment. When he hears what Carl did, he gets pissed and demands Carl replace the zombie he killed. Instead Carl just kills his remaining zombies. Hershel then tries to sue Carl but the court just leads to zombie entertainment being banned, forcing Hershel to quit the business. Hershel is furious at Carl but Carl just goes home to spend some quality time with his family.
No, there's never any explaination. Which, to be fair, is probably for the best. The series is devoid of fantastical elements that aren't the zombies themselves. If they just said "It's the T-Virus, watch out for the Lickers!" it would have been kind of odd and out of place.
But there there are some gag pages that were never printed in the trades but offer an explaination:
Pug faced grinning aliens did it.
The reveal is obviously not canon as those pages take the story in a radically different direction from where it actually went, but you might as well assume that's how the zombies came to be, it's the closest you'll ever get.
Honest answer, pilot episode is absolute kino television. Must watch. Rest of season 1 is okay, even if a step down. Seasons 2, 3 and the first half of 4 become kinda bad yet mostly watchable for the occasional top notch supporting cast, like David Morrisey or Michael Rooker. Rest of 4 onwards is pure unadulterated shit. A horrible cheap dumb soap opera with an occasional zombie here and there. Miss.
Season 5 crazy rick is the show at its best. The group is all split up, no "muh settlements" and it's all them surviving in the zombie wasteland. Terminus was a good pay off
I stopped watching when shane died
>hate bandwagon was started
user season 1 was an exciting zombie adventure and season 2 is a literal soap opera at a farm. There's no need for a bandwagon, why would the people who like season 1 want to watch season 2, they're made for completely different audiences.
First season is great
Second is complete dogshit
The rest is pretty meh
LOL
He was only in season 3-4, and remains the only good villain ever in the show
what happened to the whispering autists?
