why is he doing another one?
is he having money troubles? i don't get it
We'll see.
The last one was actually really fucking good for what it was, Stallone knows how to make a simple action flick.
It will get eviscerated by (((critics))) because he kills so many Mexicans
Rambo: last blood
Except when this movie gets a sequel
Rambo
Last jedi
This. Like expendables it is simple and good popcorn kino
Rambo 2008 was an absolute masterpiece
Rambo 2008 was absolute kino
>That 50 cal scene
Are the Rambo movies worth supporting?
the last rambo was the last GOOD MOVIE i remember at all so what the fuck are you on
Good wholesome action and extreme violence. Support them.
Rambo 3 was the franchise’s Last Jedi. Same with Rocky 5. Sly was smart enough to give them a decade or so to let audiences forget about it.
Too many to list.
>your drink, Miss Bond
everything non-Disney
why does rambo suddenly care about spics?
based
Turns out his real last name is Rambotinez
I love this fucking movie. It's profound in its simplicity. It managed to bring light to the absolute state of Myanmar (to the point that the rebels used it as a propaganda film) and it delivers a very direct message: violence does solve problems.
Has any film series ever had a worse naming scheme?
>First Blood
>Rambo: First Blood Part II
>Rambo III
>Rambo
>Rambo: Last Blood
Stallone still wants to be a big action star I guess, and Rambo is still a name that most people recognize. I don't quite understand why he insists on doing this personally when he was obviously ok with Creed using the Rocky franchise as a springboard to continue telling the same basic story with a young actor, it seems jarring to think about a 73 year old Sylvester Stallone still running around with a machine gun and explosive-tipped arrows
If I were him I would just move on and retire, maybe get a gig as an executive producer where he gets newer directors and actor to remake his old flicks like Cobra
It was very silly, in a good way.
>when he rips out that dude's windpipe
Calling it: Rambo will die.
How exactly does a movie depicting the brutality and evil of mexican drug cartels get made in 2019 Hollywood?
>Look how evil these mexicans are
>You Americans need to let all the good mexicans into your country
>y'know, so all those bad mexicans basically have total control of the country
Stallone owns the production company
Proper closure to the series? Well probably see him die at the end
>Last Blood
Old man Rambo getting a blood injection.
I think the 2008 one was a good epilog/final mission. Why Make a new one?
Who are these cartels supplying drugs to, hmm? Hmmm....!!!
Cause there's money to be had.
>Proper closure to the series?
Rambo 2008 literally did that. He ended his journey where it started, back home. The only thing silly about it is he is 70 am I supposed to believe his parents are still alive and able to run a farmhouse?
I was just like you back 10 years ago. I thought rambo 4 was going to be a flop. I was a cynical 20 something and thought I knew better. I went to see it opening night just to make fun of it. The whole theater was there for the same reason. By the end of the movie the whole theater was ready to join the fucking Army.
I doubt Stallone can bottle magic twice. But I sure as shit would not be betting against Rambo.
Yes the fast and the furious
>5 Rmabo films
>6 Rocky films
>2 Creed films
How the fuck did he do it?
thank you lucky stars he isn't doing the original idea he had, which was Rambo battling some space aliens. Stallone even bought the rights to some sci-fi book that was about a rancher fighting aliens in the desert so could use it as the base for the movie. Then someone told him it was a terrible idea.
He should make a Demolition Man 2 and continue accurately portraying what the future will look like
>Executive Producer Harvey Weinstein
Based
>rambo vs generic marines
Fuck this is boring.
I want to see rambo fight MS13 in his ranch already like some kind of twisted home alone.
>Marines
Its the Mexican Cartel retard
Pretty sure they're Hondurans, hombre.
Is this real?
Literally google it retard
kek, poor zoomer, rambo never fails at the box office
well they're all suited up operators with rifles. Same shit we've seen 1000 times.
Boring. It should have been literally hundreds of scraggly mexican gang members trying to take out rambo on his ranch after some fuck up with him killing a high ranking member.
With him doing the classic rambo shit to kill them off with traps and setpieces.
Arnold did this movie already and he did it better. Plus his pro immigration propaganda at the end literally made sense because he was saying bad immigrants should get the fuck out.
the only thing I know about this movie is fucking old town road played in its trailer
The ending of the movie is kino dragging the Mexican drug lord away from the Mexican border to be arrested
I remember people hating this when it came out, but every scene I've seen on YouTube looks exactly what the fans would want
I hated it because of the wacky side characters he had helping him
He's just doing it for fun at this point
Sicario wasn't that long ago
i saw the trailer the movie will be a great.
Mel did it too. What are these lads trying to say?
The only time latinos will accept a movie where they are the bad guys is when the old action heroes are fighting them. JCVD could make a movie where he single handily fights El Chapo and they will all eat it up. Now put a younger white man in there and they will call it racist.
real Mel Gibson Mexican kino coming through

>On July 23, 2019, in an interview with Variety, Stallone stated that the Rocky franchise as a whole will continue with another mentor-student film à la Creed set post-Creed II in which Rocky Balboa would befriend a young fighter who is also an undocumented immigrant. >"Rocky meets a young, angry person who got stuck in this country when he comes to see his sister. He takes him into his life, and unbelievable adventures begin, and they wind up south of the border. It's very, very timely."
Brave
The Fast and the Furious
2 Fast 2 Furious
The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift
Fast & Furious
Fast Five
Fast & Furious 6
Furious 7
The Fate of the Furious
Hobbs & Shaw
Fucking kek
I want to say it's political pandering but I honestly think it's more that the jewish producers and writers know the biggest market for these older actors is minorities and 3rd would country people.
What do you think MS13 is like you stupid cunt? You understand that the Cartels and the gangs that answer to them are more dangerous to the American people that any mudslime extremist group? Do you know how large of a problem the military has with gangs and ex military becoming high ranking members?
For the last 11 years since the release of Rambo 08, Sly had always said he wanted to do one final Rambo. I remember seeing Rambo in theaters with my cousins back then and we talked about how Sly was going to make a new Rambo. The plot either was a science fiction one or one where he had to rescue a friend's daughter from the drug Cartels, it's the latter.
While it did have a somewhat mixed reaction, which I recall was almost all related to Knoxville from some reason, it is a decent action movie.
It's gonna be based and make at least 500 million. Stay salty faggot.
Most of the members of drug cartels are ex military. Spec ops and what not, that's why the the law and the military of Latin American countries has a hard time dealing with them. They are literally fighting against other well trained soldiers. The average cartel enforcer will wipe the floor with the local cops and perhaps the regular soldiers.
Stallone is old and that showed in Rambo 08 where he didn't move much and it's only gotten worse since. Nigga should have just made another expendables movie
What the fuck are you talking about?
Yes they probably are bunch of ex military guys working for cartels, but most of the members are poor trash with enough with no perspective in life.
And law and military don't have a hard time dealing with them because they are armed and trained, but because cartels are connected and have a lot of high ranking military/police officials + politicians in their pockets.
you're wrong
Watch the documentary cartel land
Most of the cartel are just gangbanging morons. Even the locals can deal with them if organised.
This. I remember reading about a mercenary dude who fought cartels in middle america.
I recall one thing he said about a firefight where the dude shot his AK on full auto and was surprised when it was empty after a few moments.
He was going to do some adaptation of a book about the government hiring a tracker hunting a genetically engineered animal.
Rambo going off the deep end would be fine though. We need more boomercore.
it's gonna be wrinkle in time part deux
Lol okay user.
It's ok to be wrong user. Accepting it with grace shows character.
A 78-YEAR-OLD RAMBO!!!??????
WHO THE FUCK IS GONNA WANNA WATCH THIS SHIT????
yeah sure and then the real tough guys show up and flay them all alive
Last time I went to the movies was this.
>should have been released 18 years ago during peak hype
>in production purgatory for 15 years
>zoomers have no idea who or what this is
>diversity casting (nigger cast as Butler)
This is a dumpster fire.
Sly takes himself too seriously
patricians
ffs when will Stallone stop? Is he simply incapable of gracefully stepping away?
why can't all the old actors and musicians just stop
Rambo was already perfect closure
He probably just imagines a bunch of cholos out of some 90s movie.
Everyone has one more flop left in them
This.
Probably doing it until it doesn't make fun anymore or no people show up in the cinema.
Why don't you stop (breathing)?
It ended fine with the last one. He had one last adventure, saved the day and finally went home and forgot all the killing. That one should've been called Last Blood in my opinion.
He should do Rambo vs Commando vs Predator
>A movie meant for 8-13 year olds based on a book series that only mid 20-30 somethings remember, coming out several years after the Young Adult novel adaptation fad sputtered and died with no major successes besides Hunger Games
The whole thing comes off like a money sink Disney made to get bigger tax breaks
>That one should've been called Last Blood in my opinion.
It's supposed to be First Blood you fucking idiot. Don't comment if your not a real fan.
didn't they make that movie anyways?
That poster looks like shit.
The plot for Last Blood has been around since 2004. I remember reading about the Mexican cartel angle as a sequel before Rocky 6 came out.
>take an action movie made in the aesthetic of the 80s with the zeitgeist of the 70s
>try to reboot it at a time when nobody understands either of these things anymore
Ego
It's honestly tied for best Rambo flick along with First Blood
why are you here?
Why? Last one was great. Is it because it's too unfit in Disney's soya era?
Wouldn't it be redundant? We're already living in that time.
They're very high test, so yeah.
Not him, but there's hardly anything worth seeing in the theaters anymore.
There's no excuse for not seeing The Avengers: Endgame.
There was a high quality version you could pirate after only a few days in release.
Thats illegal and dangerous (for your computer). If you pirate you aren't allowed to critique anything because you basically didn't see the movie the way it was intended.
Here's a good reason: Capeshit is for children
I watched it on my phone during a 4 hour layover. I think I watched it in the way that piece of shit deserved.
I thought Rambo 4 ended the series perfectly fine. There's no need for this movie. He finally got to go home, because it's a long road. When you're on your own.
I used to say that to until I sat down and watched it and learned that I'm am a child at heart. If you watch it and you don't feel the same then ok but capekino deserves a chance.
I watched it hoping it would be as good as infinity war, but I was wrong. It wasn't terrible, I just think going the time travel route was the wrong way to go. Overall I thought infinity war was awesome and endgame was "meh".
