Now that the dust is settled, we can all admit we were caught up in the hype and this isn't even a top 10 show of the 2000's, right?
Now that the dust is settled...
Yes
No
It was hella good my dawgz
Ok retard
It's good but after the 6th watch it gets a little tiresome.
It’s good and it left a huge impact on modern TV drama. Many shows emulate what Vince created with breaking bad. It’s through Better call Saul that Vince was able to utilize his filming techniques (after all the work in bb) and we can see what he really wanted BB to look like. A centered life study on a single character and how that persons circumstances effect everything around them. It’s eye opening sine we live just like the way it’s filmed, constant crticts of ourselves and we can never see the bigger picture since we can only look inward.
name 10 shows better
I watch the entire series once a year, preferably around September, and I don't plan on quitting anytime soon.
Child, I'd be hard pressed to name 10 shows that were worse.
tops are gay anyway, this was a good show
1st season was pure kino
Then it goes to shit
That was pretty gay user
you've been utterly bamboozled.
>Child, I'd be hard pressed to name 10 shows that were worse.
It had some very solid episodes - especially in the beginning.
But taken beginning to end as a whole, then the show wasn't great. I agree.
el camino is gonna ruin my memories of the series isnt it
>1st season was pure kino Then it goes to shit
I'll extend that to the first two seasons then it goes to shit. But it definitely goes to shit at some point, no question.
As much as I hate shit that’s popular, it was a genuinely good show.
Fuck off OP
I watched the season 1 finale on a whim the other day and I was shocking by how fucking awful it was, every piece of dialogue was completely embarassing
What do you consider a great show?
I liked the first two seasons but it feels like the characters lose their intelligence and insist on doing stupid things solely to further the plot after that. I thought I liked the whole thing the first time I watched it, but now that I'm older I can see how contrived and poorly written the motivation and storyline of the characters are.
mad men, the wire, hell even dexter had its moments
It was good
No, in fact it's one of the rare instances where a genuine quality work that should have remained cult status successfully crossed over to the mainstream thanks to organic word of mouth rather than forced through marketing, compromising and pandering, like lost and GoT, which instantly stop being remembered the moment they stop airing. However it's undeniably pulp and shouldn't be considered in the same league as more serious, deeper shows like the sopranos, which has a far more powerful timeless appeal. Breaking bad is a very pleasant stylish neo noir neo western black comedy slash cynical moral tale that's perfectly told and paced, it fundamentally had very modest ambitions but a high level of execution and that's what makes it so fresh and endearing.
>child
fucking yikes
When you post something like this, you are obliged to list the better ones.
Sometimes I get tired of weak bait, even here.
>yikes
oof
First 2 seasons were kino and pretty unique. It's all downhill from there
no, probably in the top 10 of all time though
> Dexter
How do you even compare that one-season wonder to Breaking Bad?
On ethe same topic?
The Sopranos
The Wire
Wiseguy
Oz
...
Fuck yourself incel this show was great
Getting caught up in the hype is the fun part you idiot
>Its another 20 minute uncut scene of Mike eating peanuts in his car and grunting.
"yunno Waltuh wanna theese days ughh"
Pure kino
bump
this was more of problem in BCS though
>it's another episode of "mike eats a sandwich and watches the baddies from his car through binoculars"
mmmmmh
I liked it but I'm fucking through with all these retards who consider the greatest shit ever. It's the MCU of television.
What a gay responce
Give me one (or more optional) of the best tv shows of any genre, ever. In the context of inital watch; and rewatchability. Just curious. For context I saw all of BB. Liked it.
No intention of re-watching it whatsoever.
>oof
cringe
>imagine liking MCU films
