The last time there was any major kind of government instability was a CIA-backed coup in 1966 which lead to a military government that was soon displaced by a civil government. There was some conflict over land rights in the north in 1994, but that was solved by the Rawlings government. Ghana has had stable democratic elections since 1992.

I had a black "friend" from High school that was pretty normal when I knew her back then. Didn't act black at all, just acted like a normal suburban kid. Well idk what happened to her after that, but I looked her up recently and apparently she moved to tanzania for a while, got knocked up by some african nog and moved back to the US obviously as a single mom to raise her little shitskin twins. kek. from an outsider this obviously looks like a disaster, but I think she's happy with her decisions.
