Has there ever in history been a career rejuvenation as we're currently seeing with Keanu? Robert Downy Jr?

Roscoe Arbuckle... no, wait a minute, they buried him after the coke bottle incident.

Matthew McConnaghey

RDJ fell farther than Keanu ever did. It's not the same, but Keanus resurgence is something of a coup

Tommy Lee Jones and Men in Black

Keanu also wasn't as popular as RDJ was in their respective primes, but futurism is becoming popular again and both the Matrix and Bill & Ted were ripe for some terrible reboots.

After John Wick ends, his career will be in the shitter again

Downey barely had any career before, can't rememeber a single old movie with him aside from Air America.

Mickey Rourke with The Wrestler.

Keanu just took a break, he was very well off and not struggling. RDJ would've probably died ignobly and nobody would've cared, if not for Mel Gibson.

Tom Cruise is a legend since The Matrix, 20 years ago. He is literally the One.

Keanu didn't get drunk and break into someones house and go to sleep in their kids racecar bed

Was just about to post this. Finally got around to watching Interstellar and was pretty impressed with McConnaghey

Nah. Keanu made so much money from the Matrix trilogy it's fucking ridiculous. He negotiated profit sharing rather than taking a huge upfront payment for his work, and because they thought it was gonna bomb they let him have it. As a result the Matrix made Keanu one of the highest paid actors in history.

>Donald Kieferland and 24

What? Keanu's career has always been steady.

>rejuvenation
He is in one mildly successful mid-tier action franchise, a video game (lmao) and was an internet meme for 5 minutes. What a comeback, WOAH

Hollywood has as many "inspiring" examples as they need to pacify the average people

Kevin Bacon after xmen.

less than zero

Video game industry eclipsed the movie industry a long time ago in terms of profitability, no idea why you're acting smug. Also it's hard to put a dollar value on having the public's attention, but he does have it right now, and that is worth a lot if you can capitalize on it.

Keanu's been back in the spotlight for at least 5 or 6 years now though, he didn't have a downfall like so many other actors.

This one right here, literally no one took him seriously as an actor before 2013 since he mostly just did romcoms.

i love reberduni junia

Robert Downey is a hack, I am not sure where you find his success from? Capeshit? Phew! Anything else? No one will remember him other than milquetoast progeny

Only RDJ but RDJ fell way down, way down as this user said

>JJ Simons

God I fucking hate seeing old people compared to their younger selves! I just watched the Matrix and keanu was so good looking. He still is but FUCK, fuck aging.

i just watched constantine recently and couldn't believe how much younger he looks even there, compared to now

They aren't reboots. They are sequels.

Hopefully we all have a life as storied as his while leaving a positive impact on millions

I'll never get tired of smooth brains being bamboozled into doing stupid shit because they do whatever Yea Forums tells them to.

franchise whoring*

Michael Keaton has had a nice comeback since Birdman.

Matthew Mahogany?

Keanu never really hit rock bottom

Good karma

Paul Bettany. He was literally told to fuck off from hollywood since he was unfilmable until he was cast as jarvis and then vision.

RDJ hit rock bottom as a human being, while Keanu sort of flew low all this time with occasional hits

He should stop if this is how he 'rejuvenates' his career

>somebody was actually stupid enough to think an asshole would smell like anything other than shit
Amazing.

John Travolta with Pulp Fiction

It's not a career rejuvenation. He just accept every movie he's offered and one of them sticks.
