This. And it was better to leave Jesse's ultimate fate up to the viewers. And it's been, what, 6 years after the finale aired? Most of the cast looks old as fuck now (just look at "Skinny" Pete in the trailer) even though it's supposed to take place right after the events of the finale.
I'm mildly intrigued by this film, though, since Better Call Saul is superior to Breaking Bad. But I'm not expecting it to blow me away or anything. I think it's a case of Netflix giving Gilligan and co. truckloads of money to make a movie that takes advantage of a popular IP.
Just wait until Apple or Amazon buys AMC and force Weiner to make a couple of Mad Men prequels, sequels and spin-offs.
