Once upon a time.... in Hollywood
i liked under the silver lake but i thought the focus was a little strange, with a few changes it would have been a favorite of the year

the music in this was soo good
yes, the sore is great and the cuts supporting the score are even greater. really nice reaction shots and interesting enough story. very great chicks, i especially liked that owl murder, thought that was so hot and wished that could be me. garfield was pretty charming in this.
i see the reddit complaint and the hipster appeal, but it's still well done, since garfield doesn't get portrayed as much of a good person and shows how useless hipsters are.

The red head girl gave me such a boner
explane it to me

Anyone who thinks this was ever a legitimate grievance about anything is anti-film. Baby Driver is a good movie and anyone who tells you otherwise just wants you to hate movies.
Jews pull the strings from behind the scenes and keep you asleep/entertained with sometimes shitty music

Too Old to Die Young
I thought it interesting but it literally has some parts trying to disprove the divinity of Christ and portray him as some sort of reptile demon for some and weird reason. Which creates an odd tonal clash when you have these super cheesy and sincere moments like when he’s dancing with the balloon girl, which was just embarrassing in its attempt to create some sort of Indian jones emotional high stakes adventure-light. And the end credits song was just terrible, and some of the aesthetic choices was really bubble gum pop and childish. I really liked the first 40 minutes or so tho.
Millennials are despondent losers because boomers are buying their women and burying them underground.
>slow panning in literally every scene for no good reason
>characters talk like in a sitcom but without the laugh track
>leave only the shitting characters alive
>muh feminine power
I like some NWR but he went too far with this shit
i like baby driver and i like silver lake, but i could see autists from here and anywhere raging at that is what i'm trying to say. i saw it as extra to the story and it helps form the character. especially in silver lake it fits, since if he wouldn't be such a damn hipster nerd, the riddles wouldn't have been solved.
Anyone that's lives in LA/in specific silver lake should be doing what the main character done
>the scene where the old man is playing the piano. "I wrote your revolution"
>The scene with the owl lady
>The scene where Garfield throws away the spider man comic
>the shooting scene when he is swimming with the girl
Not a great movie overall but these were fantastic scenes. Cannot be denied that the film has a vision, it just gets lost up its own ass.

>I wrote your revolution
I think this scene stands on its own, even when separated from the context of the movie. Like the creation scene to Noah or the mirror monologue in 25th Hour.
thats what i'm also gonna do, fuck millenials. we gotta show them young bucks who the top dog is.
There's literally nothing to explain. The movie is a blatant send up of the conspiratorial and occult. Everything is on the surface.
This. 2nd or 3rd best Godzilla movie ever made. It was a pure love letter to the series and fans so I'm not even surprised it flew over peoples heads.
Mcdonald's Arthouse: The Movie
Meh, great scenes here and there but overall forgettable.
yes, it always was and always is, women complain about being sexualized objects or being treated different but they choose to do that and then get upset when they are just used as toys (as they made themselves into). i personally am clearly agains the movement of #metoo, since it destroys the relationship of male and females, but it's somewhat of an outcry of stuff that is of course happening and should've always been brought to attention more. but not like this, not 15 or 20 years after someone touched your bossom or somehitng in an elevator and there is a clear chance for snakelike women to ease some money toward their way.
it's all such a joke, literal clown world.
By far the best scene of the movie. It is sort of haunting but beautiful.
For those out of the loop, watch the scene. You don't necessarily have to watch the movie to understand it.
woah
>There is no rebellion. There's only me, earning a paycheck.
Is Wikipedia lying? This dude is "that guy" on so many shows, but how is he that guy?
>Your art, your writing, your culture, is the shell of other men's ambitions.
>critics bash UTSL for being a mindless, lazy pastiche
Yeah sure, that's why they send it to cannes, famous place to bury movies.
