Enjoy your burn-in
You'd need a negro-tier IQ to cause burn-in on an OLED, so Yea Forums should stick with LCDs.

No there hasnt been anything good to come out of the media for 10 years. Go outside

You could spend $500 on a TV and within 2 weeks you’ll get used to it. Fuck off brainlet.
I've heard they're A++ for kino but if you play video games on them they'll get fucked up really bad. Also they may break in 5 years.

No matter what panel tech you end up choosing you're going to be compromising in some way.
You think high bitrate 4K porn is any good on OLED?
It’s people like you who need to get shot
I bought the LG C9 55" for $2500 when it came out and i havent looked back. great decision since i was using a CRT before that.
no since the only high bit rate 4k porn will be professional
Who the hell watches tv anymore?
Get a projector and a screen for 1000-500 dollars less than that... Size > "muh deep blacks". Then hold on to some money, and upgrade when the 4k projectors start getting cheaper. Imagine if you had a 65 inch OLED TV, top of the god damn line, sitting right next to a 125-150 inch projector screen. Which one would people go for? Also, hope you got a decent sound system.

It depends if you want almost CRT/reality levels of black again.
Most people just forgot what image quality is.
No, you need to get a TV with no burn in issues. The prices for these things plummet so fast that an 80 inch MicroLED or QLED will be like $1000 in a few years. You can walk into a Best Buy right now and get a 60" 4K LCD for about $600-700.
LCD's make shitty blacks though. OLED has much better blacks.
My plasma is over 11 years old now. Imma cry when that thing finally dies
Sometimes I wanna watch TV during the day nigga.
It really is a shame they stopped making plasmas. SO much better than LCD. OLED LCD's are better than plasmas but they've got so many issues right now.
If you watch sports, burn-in is unavoidable. Games can go for an hour or more with basically the same shit on-screen.
Blame the Europeans and their energy standards. Euros killed the plasma
All blacks are inherently shitty, user. Have you seen Chicago?
>Is an OLED TV worth the investment?
How many shows or movies do you watch that would make full use of this frivolity?
