Instead "Warlords of Dreanor" sucked ass, and WoW has been bleeding players since "Cataclysm"

There really wasn't an audience for this movie at all.

You can make a full triology with the events of wc1 if you do it right, you can do one about the orcs background and medivh ending with Grom drinking the fel blood, second movie is the actually invasion and it would end with the failed siege of stormwind and the third one will be the death of medivh, the orc victory and the humans running to lordaeron.

Once i've heard that sequel would focus on Thrall and his rise as a warchief i lost all interest, W3/Wotlk is where the story and where most interesting characters are, Sylvanas in particular would've been hit with "woke" audiences.
No, there was an audience for this and it was people who played the game. It just didn't resonate with regular people and that's why it bombed. Let's say like 25 million people played WoW/WC3 since the game was released. Average cost of movie ticket worldwide is like 8-10 bucks, so that means max 250 million just from gamers, that's nothing, you need people from the street who have no idea about the game to see it as well

My bet is that unless streaming bubble bursts and 90% of the services die soon that we'll see Warcraft tv series within 5 years, maybe even less. Amazon, WB, HBO, Netflix, Disney are all desperate for the next big thing fantasy show and has been grabbing and paying tons of money for any well-known epic book series, Warcraft is well-recognized and beloved (especially in China, where the money is) and we're at a point where tv shows can have movie-levels CG

Actually it's been said that WoW has sold over 100,000,000 units since release.

Vanilla WoW was too hardcore, I have some nice memories of playing it as a kid, but there's no way in hell I'm doing this to myself again. People keep memeing Miyazaki into the ultimate master ball breaker, but he has nothing on classic Blizzard. I'm still not convinced the last mission of TFT can be beaten without cheat codes.

Nah. Classic was literally peak WoW for its time anyways. Every expansion after that had something or other wrong with it. Don't get me wrong, they made improvements along the way, tons of convenience improvements, but even flying was a fucking shit addition.

Then again, I'm not going to play Classic WoW. I raided Vanilla to death and already lived as the top Paladin on my server on the top guild and stomped on noobs all day. There's really nothing left to experience for me in it.

MoP was a great expantion. It looked beautiful, had FANTASTIC class design, cool raids, cool new systems. Was a little rough at the start with rep grinds, but got so much better as time progressed.

The lighting between the subjects and composite is off causing them to look like flat pop up figures that are out of place. There's other things that are off but that's the worst of it and it show obvious green screen usage. When its done right you can't tell it was done in a green screen.

The human casting and acting went very wrong. Movie came out too late. A few years earlier when WoW was more popular would have helped.

They wanted to do a trilogy or more which is why they started from the beginning while rewriting it to make sense with the plan that they were going to do more movies.

I'd like a movie about leveling up to 10 or so and then camping out in the Auction House for literally years on end and acquiring a huge stash and tons of dough and then the disappointment of realizing that no one respects your bargaining skill but just thinks you bought gold from a farmer and then quitting forever.
