It's its own thing focused on Jesse. It's not Breaking Bad. It will be similar, but like Better Call Saul it will have its own strengths.
The Office and Fawlty Towers would be the classic examples of comedy shows that ended exactly when they needed to. The Thick of It also has a few episodes but every one of them is good.
Peep Show arguably should have ended sooner to be fair.

Season 5 was ok, and in terms of a conclusion to the series, it did it better than the vast majority of tv series. It actually had an ending that doesn't leave a bad taste in your mouth, and concluded most of the stories reasonably well. The one thing I didn't really like is bringing back Elliot into the story, it felt kind of forced, but it still worked despite that.
What are the chances that this movie will shed some light on what is going on with Gene, present day Saul? If 5th season of BCS is real I would like to see some satisfying closure to his character but I doubt they would explain how he got to his current position in BCS. This movie could be a perfect opportunity to tell what happened to him.

They were big in the early 00's, everyone hated them by the late 00's, so early 10's it was 'Remake everything, with a "Diverse" casting so people can't complain!' now that this doesn't work anymore they're just 'restarting' everything. Hackery means making something seem better than it is without much real substance. There is a lot of artsy "atmospheric" cinematography and slow pacing to seem deep and meaningful but they really don't know what to do with the story.
