I think he's done as Spider-Man and Nathan too. Him unfollowing Sony Pictures on Instagram is pretty telling. And I'm not even sure if its because he chose a "side" in the divorce, I think it's just a creative clusterfuck trying to continue his take on the character without it being in the MCU. Obviously Sony can't "reboot" again but I think the path they will go to silence criticism is diversity, they saw it already worked once with Spider-Verse so live-action Miles will distract the NPCs from it being a reboot or anything to do with Uncle Ben and they will eat it up.
