Positive reviews seem to celebrate the gory finale, but that scene is about ten minutes long and makes up only a minor part of the movie experience.
It was a good period piece if you are into that, but apart from the nostalgia I don't see any merit in it.

It's about the atmosphere and the beauty of the filming.

That doesn't carry a movie over 160 minutes in my eyes.

watch more movies.

Watch Stalker, pleb.

I already did. I liked it. It actually progressed.

the first two acts are about a career just beginning and one about to end. booth is there to show what hollywood was like in those days as well. the ending is just QT doing his revisionist history thing, saving his world he loves so much. he clearly loved tate since he makes you watch her actual performance and prevents her murder.

Nothing Happens: The Movie

>What's the appeal of this movie?
Leo's character. Existential dread and coping with aging and losing "it" is a very resonating motif.

Pitt's character. Yeah he got dem action scenes but all around he's coming off as a sort of chivalrous hero, not withiut his shortcomings, of course.

Beautiful imagery of Sharon Tate.

Showing of Manson's family as disgusting degenerates.

Wow 4 things from 160 minutes good job tarantino

Except it did

You can use your imagination to have a superhero in tight bright clothes fly in saying one liners and fight aliens coming through some poryal

Like your life but way better

its physically impossible for asian men to have sex

>but way better
wouldn't go that far as I've at least gotten some enjoyment out of life, which is more than I can say for this shitflick.

Its a performance driven movie that is basically just homaging to "golden age" hollywood.

Thats all it is, if you dont like that kind of movie thats fine but dont get mad because its not a genre you enjoy

the movie is about how fucking cool Cliff is and how realistic and awesome his friendship with Rick is.

and then by them being together they are able to stop a horrible tragedy

Surprised no one's complaining about T'ino yellow-washing Atkins.

I am not mad I am just asking for the appeal.

She was cute in this

Those are large themes and they thoroughly intertwine to create a wholesome, endearing atmosphere.

Transformers is in netflix.
go

I was starting to lose faith in the movie after the timeskip and the weird spaghetti western minidocumentary but Leo btfoing them in the car and her ensuing performance won me over. Delectable cheese.
Reminder that there's literally nothing wrong about portraying the power of friendship.

>le atmospheric slow burn
